Medical Professional c128 hz TUNING FORK

This tuning fork - tuned to the C note, was purchased by me for use in the healing modality known as REIKI, a Japanese term meaning Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki practitioners channel the Creators' energy into recipients to clear and balance their chakras - whirling energy centers within the body, for optimum health in mind, body and spirit. The tuning fork is used to measure the strength of the energy flow in different parts of, and throughout the body. It is an effective tool for this purpose. I also understand that chiropractors may use the tuning fork to detect fractures in bones. When the tuning fork is activated and placed on the skin above a fracture, the patient experiences pain.

I've been using this now for 12 years in practice and it still works perfectly.

Definitely not the highest quality tuning fork, but I just need it for a clinical exam so it'll do. Considering it's only $5, I'd say you get what you pay for. It works for what I need. For those expecting high quality, just remember this is a $5 item, it will do in a pinch, and it'll do for nursing students. If you're needing it for serious use, probably want to spend a little cash. For the price the quality is expected and the seller provided me with great customer service.

My lab partner and I needed a tuning fork to practice with outside of the lab, but being a full-time student, funds are tight. This product was exactly what we needed, and it worked just perfect. I would buy from this seller again, if they had something I needed. It arrived in perfect timing as stated by seller, and in the condition advertised.Thanks a lot!!!

It did not work as well as a true medical tuning fork. The quality was not as good as the one my doctor uses. Just ok.

These are basically throw away aluminum tuning forks which I use in my medical practice ti evaluate peripheral nerve sensation.When I wear out one, I just replace it with the spares that I keep in my office.

The product arrived in a thin bubble-wrap yellow envelope thing. I suppose that packaging was sufficient, especially for such a simple product as this.Good news: It makes noise, and functions as a normal tuning fork would.Bad news: I ordered the 128hz version of this fork. Unfortunately the fork I received rings at 149hz. You'd think that if you ordered a tuning fork thats rated to a certain frequency that you'd receive said fork that rings at said frequency. So there's that.In addition to being completely out of tune, the product doesn't feel factory machined at all. The prongs are non-symmetrical, the edges are uneven and almost very finely serrated at parts, and the bells at the top are uneven and poorly attached.Summary:Yes, I know I ordered a <$10 product and that I shouldn't be expecting that much. I guess I just assumed that I would at least receive a product that functions as advertised, even if it did feel very cheap and "janky". The most disappointing part of this is that it doesn't even perform it's function. Oh well. Buy at your own risk, I suppose.

I bought it and was very excited. Used it and it barely vibrated, additionally one of the pieces was lose. By the 4th time I used it one of the pieces became so lose that the device simply stopped functioning. I had this for one week tops. I was almost in trouble in my clinical skills class because of it. Do yourself a favor and invest in a real, actual medical quality tuning form. This is not professional grade at all...
