Solid Build, Roomy, Looks Good
This Yaheetech 52" bird cage is a good buy. It's very well-built and feels solid when assembled. The coated wrought iron material looks good and the cage has a lot of room for small birds. I currently have 2 budgies in it. 3 long wooden dowel perches are included and four plastic double feeding cups. It looks like this cage is made of two smaller ones stacked together, so there is an upper and a lower door, which makes maintenance easier. The pull-out bottom tray is strong plastic and very easy to keep clean (I use the cheap supermarket paper towels for liners and they work fine) There a lot of storage room on the shelf under the cage. Wheels make it very easy to move the cage around. There is no top door on this model, if that matters. I recommend this cage to anyone starting or looking for an extra good quality bird cage

Great bird cage
Good size for my mustache parakeet. We have the same one for our IRN as well and itโs plenty of room for both of them (they have separate cages). Pretty simple to set up, sturdy, and easy to move around with the wheels.

Looove this!
Such a great size! Birds can fly around, there are two doors for easy access (kinda wish there was a door bigger for easier access to putting decor up). Quality is great, Iโm good with putting things together but if someone wasnโt, the instructions could be better.

Overall great bargain and quality for the price
It looks much smaller in the pictures so I was skeptical, but I went for it based on the price and all the comments saying how spacious it was. Let me tell you, this thing is LARGE. I was concerned because of the price that it might be a little janky (well, it was, in the assembly department) but once it was all put together it was pretty solid. The included wrench was too small for the bolts so they stripped almost immediately and I had to use my own tools. It was also quite the task for one person, took me a little over an hour. But itโs definitely an upgrade from my GCCโs old cage, which was very tall and narrow and they are better off in wider cagesโand this one fits the bill. Overall the size is a steal for the price and itโs pretty good quality. I saw some comments about inconsistent bar spacing that isnโt safe for budgies, but maybe they addressed that issue because the bars look evenly spaced and should be safe for smaller birds. Shipping was also fast. So Iโd say if youโre on a budget and shopping for a cage for a small to medium bird (even some larger ones, if theyโre not going to be confined to it all the time itโs PLENTY of space for even a large parrot to sleep or hang out) and youโre weighing this against one of the more โreputableโ brands like Prevue which can be more expensive, Iโd say just go for this one. If the assembly had gone a little smoother I wouldโve given it 5 stars. ***UPDATE*** My baby loves his cage so far. The only thing I would add is the included food trays are plastic and very flimsy. I would STRONGLY suggest ordering a set of steel bowls and a compatible hook to attach them to the bars. The plastic ones are a BACTERIA MAGNET. Esp if your bird is like mine and likes to dip their food in their water. It gets nasty really fast. Also if you have a lot of perches (which you SHOULD) be mindful where you place the food bowls as itโs really easy for your bird to poop in them from a higher perch, which is another reason to consider stainless steel as theyโre easier to clean and donโt absorb the yuck.

Sturdy and well constructed - I absolutely adore the wheels!
My cockatiel had started chewing on his previous cage (he knows it annoys me) so I knew it was time for a new cage. I picked this one because it was large, tall, and on wheels, and had a removable tray on the bottom for changing the paper. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness and quality of the cage - I did notice a couple of areas where the paint was chipped when I opened the box, but the box was damaged on arrival so it could have been from shipping. Luckily they were not in very accessible areas. The cage was pretty easy to put together, and OMG I LOVE the wheels! They allow me to push the cage around easily in any direction, not just front and back or side to side. It makes moving the cage to vacuum so easy. It took a little while for my bird to get used to climbing up and down the cage because the bars were a little farther apart than he was used to, and the sections with the square stabilizing rods (not sure what else to call them) threw him for a loop Because he couldnโt use them to pull up with his beak, he had to reach past them to the next regular bar. It is a little difficult to put toys that need to he screwed in on the opposite side of the cage because it is so large, you have to have long arms to reach inside and around. If you have someone to help that shouldnโt be a problem. There are no doors for food or water bowls, you have to hang them inside. They do provide 4 plastic bowls that you can use though. I am not a huge fan of the bowls provided because they are all double bowls, and it just seems like wasted space since I donโt put his water right next to his food. I was able to get other bowls that would fit. The tray on the bottom is a bit floppy but it works fine, and i was really happy that they didnโt require you to put one of those grates on the bottom on top of the tray. Those just get too messy too quickly in my opinion. I like the area under the cage to store food or toys or treats or cage covers too - this cage is bigger than my old one but my bird accessories take up less overall space now. Iโd recommend this cage for cockatiels or similar sized birds, especially if you like the idea of wheels that allow easy movement and ample space for your feathered friend to play!

Great cage, great price, and impeccable customer service
This is my second time ordering a cage from this vendor. The first order was lost due to the carrier and customer service was very prompt and very accommodating with refunds. I was so impressed I decided to order again, going for an even bigger and better cage. The carrier once again gave me grief (what's going on with you, USPS?) but the cage made it to me this time and I have to say I am very, very pleased. The cage is big and very sturdy, the bar spacing is just right for medium and small birds (a very small budgie or a finch might be able to push enough to get their head through, but it feels unlikely), and the whole thing is highly customizable. The material is wrought iron but the bars and parts can be pushed enough to make small adjustments. For assembly I'd really recommend two people, but it is entirely possible if you, like me, are out of shape, mobility impaired, and alone, it's just going to take longer and require more elbow grease. No parts were missing and though a few of the panels had to be pushed to fit, I got them into place and now it's all holding together extremely well. For toy and perch setup, either get creative or have another person. The cage is BIG. The included dowels and food cups are not exciting, but very easy to replace; I've exchanged the plastic feeders for metal bowls and while I used a couple of the dowels, I added a variety of other perches as well. Overall, a wonderful cage and a very helpful and communicative vendor means they've got a customer for life!

Don't Believe Negative Reviews
I ordered this about 3 am on Friday morning, and received it on Saturday, 4 days earlier than predicted. I read every review I could find on this cage before ordering, so I knew exactly what to expect. Every part arrived intact, including the perches and feed/water cups. Despite the directions being utterly useless, I had the whole thing assembled in 30 minutes. It's pretty straightforward, and all you need is a little common sense. Cage dimensions are exactly as described. This cage would work splendidly for any bird up to the size of an African Grey or an Amazon. A Cockatoo or a Macaw would find it an appropriate temporary accommodation. I intend to use it to house my handfed baby parrotlets and baby quaker parrots, and in preparation for this, I have already separated the cage into two equally sized, 30.8" (Width) x 20.5" (Depth) x 18.6" (Height) levels. To keep both parrot species at an accessible level, I've mounted it, (without the casters) on top of a repurposed square coffee table. I may drill holes in the bottom of my coffee table legs, and mount the caster wheels there, in case I need to roll the cage around cleanup, and vacuuming underneath. The bar spacing and wire strength is appropriate for any bird, from finches to parakeets, as well as Conures, Amazons, and African Greys. I like the simple locking mechanism, but I may upgrade it to a hook-and-eye fastener as my Baby Quakers and Parrotlets grow more intelligent and inquisitive. Is this cage appropriate for rodents that can flatten themselves, and slip through bars 0.6" inches wide? Probably not. Otherwise, any negative reviewer who complains that their Budgie snuck out of this cage either has a wild imagination, or they are just paid trolls trying to mislead you. The cage is huge, goes together easily, and looks pretty nice! I'll update this review if the cage spontaneously combusts, or a parakeet with a 1-inch wide head squeaks through the 0.6 inch bars... but don't hold your breath. I think it is a well-manufactured cage, with all the room a parrot could hope for, especially in this price range! P.S. I did break the hook off of one of the cheap plastic food/water bowls, while trying to mount it inside the cage. I still like the design of the cups, so I drilled holes near where the hooks were, and attached it with small zip ties instead. These minor inconveniences don't require rocket science to fix. Just common sense and a little creativity.

Sturdy
I bought this for a parakeet and he has plenty of room to fly and play. I think it would even be big enough for 2 parakeets and I'm considering adding another one. It wasn't that difficult to put together. I put it together by myself and I'm not a handy person like that. I zoomed in on the second picture to show the size of the bar spacing compared to my parakeet. He's still young and wouldn't be able to escape the bars. I couldn't say about a finch though. I wouldn't trust their small size in this. The feeders that came with it are nice and roomy but I did buy other ones to use as well which he prefers. It came with sturdy wood perches as well although I did buy flat ones as well so he don't get arthritis clinging on the round perches all day. The tray is a little flimsier than I was expecting it to be but so far so good. It seems to be sturdier than it feels. The bars wipe clean with a dry toothbrush and it's been a great home for my new little guy. I really like that I can roll it outside because it would be too heavy for me to lift. I'm including a photo of a small travel size cage, as well as a medium cage I use when I'm cleaning out the big cage, so you can get an idea of the size of this cage. It's large and I'm happy with my purchase. I'm saving to buy another one for my disabled neighbor who lives alone and is wheelchair-bound and could use a little pet bird to perk her up. This is worth the price in my opinion and I don't have any regrets in buying it.

Exactly as described
This cage doubled the size of the cockatiels previous cage and he seems to really enjoy all the new space. The fact it is on wheels means that he can be with the family where ever we are in the house. Just waiting on a few toys to arrive so he can enjoy his space even more. It is sturdy and simple to assemble, and the price was great too. Both bird and humans are very happy with it.

Good quality, wish the door were bigger
Good quality cage , however, not suitable for budgies, the bars are slightly too big so they can injury themselves pretty badly. The only issue is the doors are a lot smaller than expected and there is no way to access the inside of the cage from any other angle so you have to use the small opening of the doors, and unless you have long arms itโs very hard to attach any perches or toys at the back of the cage.

Its awesome.
This cage is fantastic. Instructions are really small making it a little difficult to see details in the pictures. You will need an extra set of hands to hold things in place while the other person bolts it together. Aside from that, assembly was easy and quick. It comes with casters which is awesome but they don't have locks on them. So plan cage placement accordingly. This cage has tons of space. I purchased it for a love bird, he now has lots of room to move when hes not cage free. The doors are a little tedious. I might replace the pin with a something easier to attach and remove, but they are functional and its more a preference thing on my part. For the price this cage exceeded my expectations. I'm happy and so is my bird.
