This listing is for the satin finish... Is there a big difference in looks between the satin finish and the gloss finish???

I think there is a big difference, but it's all personal preference. Adding a little of the Satin with my acrylic paint, helps the acrylic look richer, & less flat. I use the Satin Glaze, but i also use whatever I have. To me the gloss puts a little too much shine on the painting, & I'd prefer to put gloss on the entire painting as a last step if thats the look I want.

Can this be used with glitter and then used as a sealer with a second coat over faux foils?

As an artist, I think I’ve tried just about everything. Remember, the heavier the item your gluing (loose term), the heavier the medium. This is a glaze, & isn’t meant to hold down anything. If you want to put glitter or even tissue down, try using Matt Medium, our gel medium. If you are collageing heavier papers, use regular gel medium. I hope this helps.
