Brilliant
Ordered this (+ spare key) approx 3 months ago for my mum, whose Parkinson’s is now fairly advanced. It was easy to set up and there is also a really clear and helpful instruction video on the amazon product page, for subsequent adjustments if required (eg to alarm timings). It has been an absolute godsend and by far the most effective method of ensuring Mum takes the right meds at the right times (we’ve tried several!). Best of all, Mum was quickly able to learn how to use it, and she feels secure using it. As other Parkinson’s sufferers and carers will know, there is no 100% failsafe system (eg what if Mum has a freeze and can’t get to the Tabtime?) but the Tabtime overcomes just about every barrier. It is robust and meds stay in their proper compartment, even when the Tabtime is turned over or on its side. The Tabtime does need to lie flat when not being used to dispense meds (eg don’t carry it on its side for prolonged periods), but that has not been a problem - the one time it did beep at me non-stop because it had slid on to its side in my bag, I was easily able to resolve the issue by popping the batteries out and back in again, with no need to reset the clock/alarms etc. Battery usage has been fine - we’re still on the first set of batteries after 3 months. The Tabtime comes with several card inserts, for dispensing meds 3/4/5 times a day, or on different days of the week, etc. One small criticism I would make is that the wee fold-down ‘tabs’ on the card inserts do not fold down perfectly - they still stick out a bit. I did consider securing with a small piece of tape if need be, but this has not been necessary - the card insert has stayed in place. One final bit of info: I called the local Council Equipment Store the other day, for advice re clocks. I mentioned the Tabtime during the phone conversation, and the Council employee told me that they distribute the same dispenser to other clients who need support with taking meds. Good endorsement! To any carers and cared-for people who might be reading this, best of luck on your journey, stay strong.

Excellent Device For Dementia
I wanted to wait until I had used this machine for a while before submitting my review.Initially I was hesitant to purchase due to the high price but I’m thankful I went ahead and bought it.My mother had a brain injury in 2020 and as a result is currently being assessed for Dementia. My Mother lives alone with myself and Home carers calling in daily. My mother can be quite obsessive around her medications and likes to have her independence around them. Often she would pop the wrong day/ time from her blister pack which resulted in confusion for the rest of the week, not to mention the danger of overmedicating.I fill the machine with her meds once a week and have the timer set for twice a day, morning and evening. I then lock the machine and have the key hidden. So far it has worked extremely well. I worried it would be fiddly to set up but reading and following the instructions was easy enough. My mam wouldnt have been able to do it herself however, so I would recommend family/ carers to do it.It comes with lots of different panels for varied options depending on medication requirements ie, morning, mid morning, afternoon, evening etc and there are 6 alarms. My Mam is only on meds twice daily as seen in the picture submitted. So I have only 2 alarms set, once for morning at 9am and once in the evening for 9pm.The machine rotates to the time and day and will continue to flash until the medications have been tipped out.I would 100% recommend this product to anyone who needs support around medications. Its been a life saver for us.

Very easy to setup . It has up to 6 alarms per day . really simple good product. saves
Very Good Product. My mother is on a number of tables but needed to take 2 extra tables on an ongoing basis 3 times a day. It was important that these extra tables were taken spaced out . This resulted in my sister having to manage this on a daily basis . This system worked great easy to setup. But small features were excellent . example the plastic cover when closed covered the setting buttons so no chance of anyone pressing the buttons by mistake . My mother knows at 11am 5pm and 11pm there are tables waiting for her. Small red flashing light and all she does is tilt the device in her hand and she has them. Very easy to use . 28 pockets will handle all the week tables . check the amount of tables you need to dispense at one alarm . the pocket can hold a good number of tables but confirm . Great product I would recommend it .

Not easy to set up but worth persevering because it does the trick.
When I eventually got it set up it was great. Bought it for my Mum who has dementia. I fill it up with her meds and so far she’s managed really well with it. The alarm is quite loud which is great as can’t really be ignored & goes off quickly when you tip the box to put the meds in your hand.I’m really good with setting up tech but this was tricky so that’s why 4 stars. Box is expensive but has been worth it as it’s done exactly what I wanted it to.

Brilliant!
I don't usually bother with reviews but this has been a game changerThe biggest issue with My Dad and his Alzheimers is medication, forgetting and getting confused about which day it is and if he's already taken itThis was easy to set up and so far we're a week in and he's not missed a dose,it's allowing him to keep his independence for a while longer

Brilliant product
We got this for my mother who has been having trouble following her blister pack and was very defensive and territorial with her medication making it difficult to monitor what she was actually taking. It's a game changer. We aren't able to be popping in every day and physically giving her her meds and she would never allow it anyway. I followed the instructions on the leaflet which were very clear and set it up for morning and evening meds. We can now fill it up once a week. She is delighted with the ease of use and our minds are put at rest that her meds are been taken properly. Would highly recommend for anyone with an elderly relative struggling with medication.
