Great
I've purchased two of these, as one got stolen, along with my bike. Pros: - Large storage (between 1L and 2L bottles) - Durable - Secure clip (making sure your bottle doesn't fall out Cons: - Some lids don't stay in the clip. - To adjust for different size bottle requires taking it off the bike. Conclusion If my bike got stolen tomorrow, I'd but another one of these.

well made
Excellent piece of equipment. It easily holds a 1.5 litre bottle clipping the cap or neck of the bottle securely in place. It can also easily hold a 2 litre bottle, but it wont be clipped in place at the top. It is well constructed and its corrosion resistant, so it should last for many years. I used two of them attached to the frame of my bike using hose clips to carry water on a trip from Marrakech to Nouakchott in Mauritania, and they're both still as good as new.

perfectly satisfactory
Sound. Bought it for touring in a hot country thinking it would take disposable 1.5l plastic bottles and therefore save me money. Worked fine, though was disappointed to find that the folk of Romania and Hungary tended to drink out of 2l bottles. It takes these too, so there is plenty of flexibility, but at this size the rack is at full stretch and the neck clip loses something of its easy-release. Hardly a problem for touring with panniers. A bottle cage isn't rocket science, lets face it. Unless you are competing in the Olympic Games, can I encourage you to buy something sensibly-priced? Give the balance to something or someone who needs it!

good for large bottles but too big for normal size bike bottles as well
Very good for holding the large 1.5l bottles but the bottom of the cage is too large to hold a normal water bottle. I'm not sure why as the 1.5l supermarket bottles fit into normal bike cages fine (the issue is normal ones don't have a longer support and clip to hold in place around the neck. The larger bottom bit also meant that I had to mount on the down tube rather than on the seat tube (on my genesis croix de fer 2015) and my normal sized BBB cage on the downtube - the other way round and they would clash. The clamp at the top is very good and overall it's very robust. some of the black finish has started to come off slightly at wear points but that isn't a problem for me

BBB Water Bottle holder
I've found this holder better than others on the market due to the more robust clip at the top to hold a larger bottle in the holder. I had a topeak xl botter holder, but the rubber strap broke after some use so ended up using a rubber band which wasn't ideal. This clip seems a lot firmer so far.

Slight design problem.
It's a great well made holder for larger bottles. I bought it for my 1.5 litre spirit bottle which it holds very well but the top bottle neck holder does not close fully due to it not being over the centre of the bottle so I'll have to modify it to work.

Perfect for my fuel bottle on motorbike
I bought a 1 litre metal fuel bottle for my Harley and used this bracket to strap it to the frame downtube. Works a treat!

Once you've found the right shaped water bottle (a little difficult nowadays because soda pop bottles have become so fat), this water cage is de rigueur on long trips. I've found that the best shaped bottle is the one in my photo, and it can hold 1.5 liters (1.69 quarts). I use a Fuel Tank XL on my MTB to stay hydrated without needing to beg for more water because I didn't bring enough along. Try to find water on any trail!
