Or does it convert the input signal to mono?** A: All four headphone outputs are stereo. There is a push-button to turn them to mono. There are left and right inputs. When the mono push-button is depressed, the left and right inputs are summed together to make a mono signal in all four of the headphone outputs. **Q: Single 1/4 balanced trs cable to dual rca for tv. will i still get stereo sound or do i need two trs? there are two ports.** A: never use it as it not worked at all **Q: Can I connect a pair of speakers to the aux out and then four headphones to the 4 headphones out?** A: I don't see why not. I wouldn't suggest it because of the ceiling of power available. There are better options for whatever your use case, but it will be more expensive. Also, I just saw they are selling this for $80 right now. I bought it for $45 a few years ago, and that's the most I'd pay for it today.
