Jaybird Chopsticks Pattern

Q: How big are the suggested triangles in the quilt on the photo? Are there any photos of your quilts you can share? Thanks

The pattern says "to create the blocks in Chopsticks you will need a specific specialty ruler or templates. The pattern was developed by using the 12" finished size 60 degree triangle ruler by Creative Grids. This ruler measures 12.5" from the base to the tip. Not all 60 degree rulers use the same measurements or are the same size. Accuracy cannot be ensured if any other ruler is used. There are template paper patterns included with the pattern so you can make template plastic ones." Hope this helps.

Q: Is this pattern fat quarter friendly?

Not really. The pattern calls for 1/2 yard prints for baby and lap sizes and 3/4 yard prints for twin and king. The background fabric is also fairly substantial yardage

Q: can this be made with a layer cake?

No. This pattern is best made from yardage.
