a brand that I really love. But the brush doesn't penetrate my thick hair ...
Extraordinary hair brush for my 4a/b hair type. I had previously purchased a boar nylon bristle brush from Hercules Sagemann, a brand that I really love. But the brush doesn't penetrate my thick hair while the Kent brush does. I would like it to be a little heavier but that's a personal preference that doesn't affect the performance of this perfect, perfect brush. Really nice for naturals. As I said, PERFECT.

Unclean hairbrush.
Hairbrush was recieved with somebody elses hair in the bristles. Considering this was over £35, I feel that it should have been a new brush. See attached picture.

Great brush
Good quality brush, ideal for long, thick hair. Gets rid of knots and tangles whilst causing minimal damage to hair.I have used Kent brushes ever since I was a child and will continue to do so if they keep making them this good.

Not for my thick hair! But Kent Brushes very helpful
I have quite thick, shoulder length hair. After snapping another cheap brush, I decided to change my haircare routine and bought some good detangling combs. I also bought a Kent PF05 to brush my hair with as I wanted natural bristle. The PF05 didn't quite reach my scalp, so after reading up, it seemed this was the brush for thick hair. Package arrived damaged. I tried this brush and instantly hated it. The bristles are much shorter than the PF05, so only the nylon strands make it near my scalp and they didn't quite reach. It was pretty useless! The PF05 did a better job. I returned this and emailed Kent Brushes explaining the situation - within 24hrs they got back to me and recommended the LS1. This is a stiff bristle brush (which says its for long fine hair) - this worked much better for me. It had longer bristles than this brush and was stiff enough to reach my scalp. Will see how long the brush lasts.. So, overall this was not good for me and if you have thick hair, you may want to consider the LS1.

great I was told to buy one and thought it was expensive but not at all it really sorts out the fur, the cheaper ones are not good enough for Hskies

Not very Large
To say it is called Large this brush is not as big as expected but for the price it's okay for short or medium hair.

Seriously Impressive Hair Brush
It is always reassuring when you buy luxury brands that have been tested by time and they stand up to thehype. This is a seriously impressive hair brush with both nylon and boar bristles. It detangles and nurtures the scalp while being comfortable to hold and style. I had previously used only Mason Pearson and this, at afraction of the cost is equally excellent. Well done Kent.

Good brush—damaged
Works great, feels great, but came damaged with a good size chunk missing from the top. Came packaged well so seems like a quality control issue.

The best quality
This brush has the best quality ever . It’s beautiful, It’s ergonomic. I just use it one time in my hair and looks totally different. Can’t wait for tomorrow to use it again. It’s an expensive piece, but it’s worth it because its quality will last A lifetime.

Difference between Pearson and Kent
I recently purchased the the large brush. Ir does reach my scalp. The nylon brisles are hard so please be aware when using. The difference between these two classic brushes is that the pearson has less bristles which allows more hair to flow and the kent has bristles. Its very good brush

Needs breaking in
Scratchy on the scalp but after a few weeks the bristles soften.
