If you like you can substitute buttermilk over whole milk for a more intense buttermilk flavor.It's easy to make. The local Florida Publix brand of buttermilk pancakes I thought were delicious, and the Krusteaz buttermilk’s were fantastic, more recently… So I thought I would try the Stonewall Kitchen buttermilk’s where you actually add buttermilk and an egg and melted butter thinking I was going to get something more real, & even better than all the others, but incredibly, I could not get myself to take more than five or six bites before I put them in the sink and turned on the garbage disposal… I thought they were shockingly bland in flavor, or of anything appealing... At 10x the price! I even used Kerrygold, butter, and real maple syrup, with the intention of going for the gold!
