I had to buy the set. The obsidian was a gift, and I kept the amethyst for myself. These are fabulous gift ideas! The way it tightens isn't the greatest, so I knotted the ropes ends. They're really quality stones. The person I gave the obsidian absolutely loves it. I definitely recommend these!
