Plus, they are audio-ready, allowing for the seamless addition of mini speakers, making every ride an immersive experience. ## Description These comfortable audio ready Ear Pad Inserts from Bear Claw will protect from wind, noise and cold. Ear pads come with audio speaker pockets for optional mini speakers. Inserts are designed to fit a wide range of DOT and non Dot helmets with a "Y" style helmet straps. These universal ear pads will not fit properly with helmets with single straps on each side. Better DOT helmets use the stronger and more comfortable "Y" style Helmet strap. With a "Y" helmet strap the helmet's straps are attaches in two spots to the helmet shell and form a "Y" on each side of the helmet. These universal ear pads have a small tab on top which is designed to slip between the DOT helmet's outer shell and the helmet's inner liner. You may have to alter or move helmet decorative trim to insert the locating tab on your particular helmet. The ear pads are also held in place by the helmet's Y straps. The outsides of the ear pads have two Velcro strips which attaches to the actual helmet straps or the cloth covering the straps . The inside of the ear pads have a comfortable padding which is designed to cover the ears and help protect from wind and cold weather. Both ear pads inserts have audio speaker pockets which will allow to use optional mini speakers with these ear pads!! See Pictures. Ear pads are 5 1/2" wide x 4'' high and 1'' thick. The helmet liner Insert tab is 3 1/2" wide and 1'' high. Will accept mini audio speakers up to 1 3/4''. These ear plugs have completely filled the need. Easy to insert and get a good seal and very comfortable to wear. I have been wearing different ear plugs for 40 years, these are the first that I find comfortable. They are also highly effective a cutting the loudest noises and allowing me to hear the things I need to hear.
