BG Electrical Intelligent Single Wall Dimmer Switch, 2 Way, Round Edge, Nexus 800 Series, White Moulded, 200W, 881

I installed the BG Electrical intelligent single wall dimmer switch in my home recently, and I’m really impressed with both its design and functionality. The round-edge white moulded finish fits seamlessly into my modern home décor, providing a sleek, clean look. It’s part of the Nexus 800 Series, so it feels like a high-quality product right out of the box. The dimmer is easy to use and operates smoothly, allowing me to adjust the lighting to the perfect level for different moods and activities. I’ve installed it in the living room, and it works well with my 200W lighting setup. The switch has a nice, responsive feel and doesn’t flicker or cause any issues when adjusting. One minor thing to note is that it's only rated for 200W, so it may not be suitable for larger setups or spaces with high-wattage bulbs, but for smaller rooms, it’s perfect. Overall, it’s a fantastic dimmer switch that provides great functionality and an elegant look at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their lighting control with a stylish switch.

Be aware that I could not fit this item where desired as the box on the back containing the electronics was too tall to fit the box that is recessed into my partition wall. Maybe the wall box is an atypical size but the fact remains that the electronics are taller than my old dimmer switch so you may want to be aware of this, i.e. it may be worth measuring the height of your switch box before ordering. However, I fitted it in another room and it fits and works fine. I particularly liked the fact that it comes with plugs to cover the screws.

Love the fact they are curved at the top and the little screw caps. Good that they have a soft illumination so they incrementally light. Nice on off action. Not too clicks and load. Nice smooth edges. Easy to install too.

I got a couple of these switches to replace old dimmers that didn't work well with LED bulbs. They were a bit hard to install: the terminal holes are narrow so it's tricky to get the conductor to go in and stay in compared to other switches with wider holes, especially if the wires are doubled or looped. if your back boxes have lugs at the top and bottom like mine do, the back of the switch won't fit; I had to hammer down the lugs. Once installed, there's a slight delay when switching on or rotating the switch: the bulb doesn't respond instantly but it takes around half a second: minor point, but I just can't get used to it. Switching off is instantaneous, at least, and the dimming action is very nice and smooth with no flickering or buzzing.

Worked well with the dimmable LED lights.

dimmer function only worked for a few minutes. Then the light would just switch on and off. The rotary felt too easy to turn as well. I wouldn't buy one of these again

Purchased as a replacement for an existing, 30-year-old, dimmer switch for use with modern LED bulbs recently fitted throughout our house. Very easy to install and appears well made but would not operate correctly with the LED bulbs I have e.g. LED bulbs are dimmable at very low level but flicker up to max level. I discovered there are dimmable and non-dimmable LED bulbs. Works fine with halogen and old tungsten filament incandescent bulbs so I need to buy yet more LED bulbs to save money and hopefully this dimmer switch will operate correctly as described

En plus de sa fonction de variateur, il fait également interrupteur en appuyant brièvement sur les boutons. Il ne possède pas de griffes rapides pour le fixer dans le mur. On peut le poser sur un boitier, seule la marque Legrand s'adapte à condition de couper en biais les petites pattes de stabilisation sur les côtés.

Très bon interrupteur. Bouton poussoir pour mise en marche et arrêt et le même bouton permet de faire varier la lumière. Si je ne mets que 4☆ c'est à cause de l'esthétique qui est moyenne. Le bouton est trop petit et très proéminent. Sinon bon produit pr le prix

Sencillo y funciona muy bien. Es lo que buscaba para regular las bombillas led de mi salón. Aconsejo su compra 100%.
