This review is for the steel version of the gazebo. One hears horror stories about kits like this where parts are missing or it was damaged on arrival, or where pre-drilled holes don't line up. Worse when it arrives it's of poor quality and flimsy and of course a nightmare to get it assembled because the instructions are useless. None of this is true for this product and if you can tighten a bolt you can assemble it yourself. It took me and my wife (we are in our 60's) about 8 hours to put it together and that was because we took it slow and steady to get it right.It arrives in 3 large very heavy boxes with each component in plastic and marked with a part number. Unpack everything but do not take them out of the plastic bags. Build small piles of like items and take stock of everything.All the hardware and tools you need is in a sealed package all with part numbers and we took them out of the shipping package put them into ziplock bags and marked them with a Sharpie. Trying to extract a few washers or screws from the original packaging is guaranteed to scatter them all over the place.The instructions are very clear and easy to follow just go slowly.The tricky parts: Some bolts are deeply recessed in beams. Getting these threads started is tricky because if you drop them into the beam (I did) it's not fun to get them out. I finally figured out that using a magnet to place the bolt worked and if you do drop them a pair of tweezers or long-nosed pliers can get them out. The only other problem we had and what I would consider to be a weak point of the design was the trim pieces that cover the edge of the roof all the way around. These are purely cosmetic but you have to drill the holes yourself to take the screws to hold these trim bits on. All other holes are predrilled and all lined up perfectly. Try as I might I could not get the corner trim to sit nicely but it is so minor no one but me would ever notice. I don't know if I was lucky or if this thing is so well-engineered that it was perfectly square when I was done. The instructions don't tell you how to get it square if it's not so I can't advise you there.This is an attractive solid very well-made structure that will last for years and I am sure you will be as pleased with it as we are. Highly recommended.

Excellent build quality!! Was super easy to assemble to has worked well, no rust a year later!!

First off , I am a 50yr old who is very mechanical and handy. I built this on my own and it took me Aprox 6-8 hours to build.Came in 2 large boxes each weighing approximately 150 lb. I took my time to lay out all the parts as recommended and this did take some time to do so. Parts are all individually bagged and bags are marked clearly with part numbers (I suggest leaving everything in bags until you need the part for assembly. Fasteners are very good quality and all the bits and drivers needed are included. As for Tools needed , I only needed a Cordless drill /driver (is a must) , a 1/8 drill bit , Philips screwdriver , clamps , a framing square, tape measure, and a soft faced hammer. Assembly of the basic structure was very straight forward and simple. HOWEVER…. The final step of the roof assembly was extremely frustrating as there are no predrilled holes in the corner flashing that surrounds the perimeter of the roof. The most frustrating part was the blue film that covers the textured outer surface. With no finger nails , It took at least an hour just to pick off all the film. These parts are more fit and finish and if you are not capable of laying out, clamping and hand drilling into sheet metal I suggest skipping that step. I also deviated from the directions and waited to fasten the roof panels and trim until the roof was installed. Assembled would have been too heavy for me to lift up on top by myself.Overall , I highly recommend this unit , it is high quality, very heavy duty, nicely finished and am looking forward to years of staying dry while grilling :)

The gazebo was delivered as scheduled and it was easy to assemble. Alignments of the parts were accurate and fit perfect. Over all, good quality. I recommend this gazebo.

Good material, not cheap. It takes some time to assemble but the instructions are good and everything went together as designed. Definitely not a one-person job but it went up as designed and is very sturdy.

We bought the 9.5 x 20 all metal pergola and are in love with this purchase. Well built, great quality and looks beautiful. Worth the money. Live in our 5th wheel RV full time and added this to our patio on our property for shade. Really makes our patio feel more like home!
