These two lights are of a much higher quality than the previous solar lights we have purchased here through amazon and from our local box store. You can tell right out of the box with the huge solar panels and the weight of the individual lights. I was curious to compare these with the last set we purchased at our local hardware store. Every aspect of these lights is an upgrade for us. These are the only set that will still perform as intended after 3 or 4 days of cloudy rainy weather. This due to the large capacity of the solar panel itself. Ten times the size of the average light/panel we have, which in turn offers longer lasting charge and a brighter more consistent light. The motion detection sensors are also a better quality as they detect movement at a larger angle and greater distance. It is nice to have the option to choose the three setting modes but mode 3, always on med bright and full bright when motion is detected works best for us. These are by far the best value for our money. I am sticking with this manufacturer/seller for the lights we need to install in the back yard. Hoping they offer a variety of styles. I want to impress on anyone looking for solar lighting to give these a try. I am confident you will be happy with the quality and operation vs any others you may have already tried. Super happy with these solar lights.

Very bright. Motion sensor works well. Well packed and very good instructions. So far so good, time will tell if they last.

With the world going to hell in a paper bag keeping your home safe has never been more essential even in more well to do neighborhoods the scum of the earth still scour around and in my case some scum bag kept siphoning fuel out of my pick up, in addition to cameras and other measures I purchased these lights to light up my driveway and these aren't your dollar store solar lamps, construction is strong and robust very easy to use and light output is exceptional lights stay constantly lit and when you wall in front to activate the motion sensor they get even brighter, of course these lights have many uses especially for landscaping but overall exceptional quality and great for emergencies since they are solar powered and last all night, stay safe everyone!

These are pretty good yard night lights. The first ones I ordered were defective and would not work on motion detection, but only on bright light and off. I returned them to Amazon and this review is for the replacement ones. I thought these were defective too, but after trying to set them up, got both working at motion detection. They are hard to get the motion detection working, but when you get it working, they work great. I got them working now and they are working in the part of the yard so I can see our dog at night. They are at a great price and I would recommend them.

The performance is impressive.Even with cloudy days recently, the lights run all night, using the medium/motion (2) option.The medium level output is moderately bright by solar power standards. The bright output is very bright.The unit is quite large. When activated by motion, the light is very bright. When using the stake, the unit can only rotate upwards. These can make it a puzzle to situation the light so that it lights the area you want without dazzling those trying to use that area. Aesthetically, the size of the unit means it doesn't work too well in some common situations. There are areas it can be used after taking these aspects into account.The best siting I have had for these so far is mounted high up, pointing downwards. No dazzle to users, reasonably unintrusive.Be careful of the little nut when disassembling for post/wall attachment. Despite my best efforts to avoid losing it in the undergrowth, and despite the assistance of a leaf blower and a magnet, I never saw it again. I did have a M4 locknut on hand which worked OK. Suggest using a powerful sticky tape over it to stop it falling out.

These look so simple but we are still struggling to see how they work. They are bright and work but I can’t figure out things easily.

The first few weeks I had these they worked fairly well. Fairly. These are rated as outdoor lights and mine were mounted on top of wooden posts in direct sunlight and nowhere near the ground - so obviously no running water, foot traffic, etc. However, after having rain here in Texas for several weeks neither are working. Both of them have water inside the lens and so, of course, do not work. So apparently not for the outdoors after all. At all.What an absolute waste of money. I in no way recommended these. I'm going to go back to buying the ones that are a little bit more expensive at Walmart.

These lights are very nice and work well. However, the instructions are poorly written which makes it hard to figure out how to set the lights. More importantly, I ordered four of these and one of the lights had a defective knob. The screw and nut that hold the post in place were defective; either the screw was stripped or the nut was stripped and the post would not stay on the light. I replaced the screw/knob that came with the unit with a nut and bolt however on a new product that should not have been necessary. It was not worth the time and effort to send them back.
