Unfinished and dangerous edges that can injure
Claimed to be 'trade quality', the "Flexible Filling knife 40mm. Stainless steel with plastic handle (0910)" appears surprisingly inexpensive. The blade appears strong but is quite flexible, ideal when filling cracks in walls or ceilings and allows the result to be sufficiently smooth for a light sanding (when dry) to provide a good finish. The negative about this tool is the potential hidden danger posed by the sides as they are full of burrs that could cause quite serious cuts to the user or anyone handling it. The blade has been pressed but without any attempt to eliminate any production burrs. It is strongly suggested that the edges either be filed or sanded to remove the burrs before first use. Preferably, purchase an equivalent from a known and trusted brand that has been properly finished.

Cheap... both in price and quality
It did the job. The steel was razed sharp, on all sides, Be careful, i sliced my hands up. Next time i will spend a few more quid on one that isn't a liability.

Very good value for money.
Was very easy to use at my first time decorating. I used it to fill in some small holes. Nice and small and light so I could easily carry in my pocket whilst up and down ladders.

does what its supposed to
this does what is supposed to do, its nice a 'bendy' which makes it good for filling unlike stiff blades.
