Slightly larger than the 1980's version of the carousel, but it fits with a little finageling.

It is great, looks like my gumball machine is brand new again. I have had this machine for many years and always loved it, but when the globe got broke I thought it was the end. So happy I got this, the globe actually feels more durable than the original. The original one was very thin glass. Looks like I will be enjoying my machine for many more years,thanks Carousel King.

I can't believe I found a replacement! I inherited my gumball machine from my father, and the globe was broken during a move several years ago. This globe is lighter weight (not as thick) as the original glass, and the lip at the base is a bit wider, but it works! And it looks beautiful. Also of note, it was a bit more expensive than some other online companies, but those companies were also out of stock indefinitely. It was well worth the extra money to have the globe in less than a week! Very happy with my purchase.
