A good quality puzzle. The picture was sharp and the color was good. All the pieces were there. They fit together well. I consider this puzzle above average, if you include common brands of puzzles off the store shelf in the average. I personally prefer another brand but it's not because of anything wrong with this puzzle. I'll be keeping this one and doing it again in a year or so.The pieces are about 25% larger than in the average puzzle. There are maybe 10 different shapes, with some variation within those.For me, that, plus many small details, and not having any big expanses of one color, made this puzzle fun rather than too much dull work. It was still complicated enough to provide the thrill of the hunt for the piece that goes in an empty space and that Aha moment when you find it. That's what I like in a puzzle, entertainment; people who like a big challenge will not like this one.

UPDATE: Good customer service!The seller gave me a quick response and refunded me for the item. I would give this puzzle company another try.I completed the puzzle without the sample artwork and had a fun time. The colors, shapes, and the edge-finishing of the puzzle are pretty good. Although I don't see myself framing and hanging this on the wall, somebody else may play this over and over. I will donate this to a nearby senior home or school.______I was so excited to get this puzzle (Village Shop). However, the puzzle pieces IN the box was a different set from the artwork ON the box. The one I purchased should not have any grasses, flowers, clouds, or whatever outside features. Right box, wrong content. I took time to pick out the puzzle I wanted and got a box :(The finish, color, and resolution of the puzzle pieces look fine. I will update the review once their customer service replies back to me.

A fun puzzle!

I enjoyed this puzzle. The picture was interesting and the pieces were large enough to be able to see and handle them easily. The pieces interlock, but are shaped in more unusual shapes than the standard puzzle shape. This made the puzzle more interesting to put together. I will purchase this brand of puzzle again.

Missing pieces. One additional piece

I took this to a 4th of July reunion, so several people came and went, working on it when they wanted to. I could barely leave it, because it was so fun! The different products and merchandise available years ago were great conversation starters, especially with all different ages working on the puzzle. The pieces were of good quality, and fit well together.

A wonderful puzzle.

I enjoyed this puzzle so much, that I worked it twice and will probably work it again.
