Koh-I-Noor5340 Blue All Metal Lead Holder with Built-in Sharpener

This is my second, because I love the first one, that I received as a gift a couple of years ago, and wanted to have another to use with each lead I like to use, will probably buy a third (in another colour) so I can use one with HB, one with 2B and one with 6B. They are well made, easy to load/reload and the weight is perfect for me.Delivery next day was also great.

Clutch pencils are great for all manner of art, and I especially like these chunkier kind which can hold a range of leads, from standard graphite to charcoal, chalk, coloured leads and even the Koh i noor magic lead which writes in several colours at once and is great for sketching. This is a solid metal bodied pencil with a dusky pink matte finish. It is quite heavy, and measures 14cm approx in length. It does not have a lead sharpener (some do, some don't, depending on the model). I have other clutch pencils from this brand and this is one of the best, highly recommended.(7/2/15) Editing this to add that it does indeed have a lead sharpener, sorry for any confusion.

Very happy. I thought it might be a bit too heavy, but it turns out that it’s actually perfectly weighted. Added bonus - the sage green colour is as gorgeous as I expected it to be.It is nicely manufactured, but I suspect that the screwed components may have a habit of working themselves loose over time. Nothing a bit of PTFE tape wouldn’t fix, I’m sure.I’ll update the review after it’s had some good use.

Beautiful high quality manufacture. Easy to load and sits perfectly in my hand. Large range of high quality leads. Highly recommended.

Perfect weight

No sólo es bonito, ser completamente metálico lo hace aguantador, resistente y de uso rudo. Justo lo que buscaba, pero estas características lo hacen un poco pesado, si no estás acostumbrado puede ser incómodo al principio.

Bonne tenue de mine, profil octogonal permettant de faire varier finement l'orientation de la mine sur le support.Personnellement, je préfère une section hexagonale comme sur la plupart des critériums avec des mines de 2 ou 2.5 mm mais ce n'est pas très gênant. On s'y habitue.Gros et assez lourd (on aime ou on n'aime pas).On peut préférer des modèles plus courts quand on travaille en inclinant beaucoup le porte-mines (préhension plus aisée).C'est vraiment affaire de goûts mais c'est un bon produit avec un bon rapport qualité/prix.
