Excellent. Works great

Well made and a good value for the price. I purchased the GreenWorks blower with two 40v batteries and the pole hedge trimmer as well so the whole system works quite well together and has already paid for itself after using it several times on first month instead of paying gardener to do this job. All well made and easy to use.

This is a fairly large strimmer which is designed for a replacement of a petrol engined strimmer so is sinilar dimensions and weight. It has plenty of power and with the steel cable supplied with it, it will cut through most stuff with ease. Battery life is good and charges quickly. Only gripe is the handle as it has the trigger enclosed within a a recess. Which I personally find it makes it awkward to do edges with as its bulky and in the way. (See picture) With it being aimed at personal use and not commercial, the guard is fairly large and is needed as the guard has a blade fitted to cut the line on the auto feed head. The head is not a bump feed, it works on like a ratchet time system that feeds 1cm out every dead start of the motor. So if you keep pulsing it, I assume you'll use a lot of line. Other than that, I have no issues.

Great bit of kit. Easy to use, loads of battery life and cuts extremely well, with the convenience of fully remote use.

Ordered this after buying the lawn mower from this brand and being blown away by the quality. We wanted to go wireless on all our tools, being able to use the same batteries is of course a huge plus. This strimmer represents the brand as well as the lawn mower does; really solid and strong, there is no weed too thick or resilient for this thing. It has 2 wires for cutting so it very quickly chews through weeds and grass and has never sounded like it struggled at all. It is very heavy though, I will say that. I consider myself to be above average strong for a woman, but my arms and hands were absolutely knackered after doing our garden edges. I think I need to fashion some sort of belt loop to help me hold it for the times my husband isn't home to do the strimming for me. It was very easy to assemble out of the box and I had plenty of battery left after doing the strimming.

Powerful - probably more than I need for my small garden. I have the Greenworks lawn mower and this took the same battery, so decision made. My daughter used it to clear an overgrown patch of brambles, bamboo, thistles and nettles: all about waist height. It absolutely sailed through the lot apparently, in very short time and on one full battery charge. The area cleared is about 20ft square and there was not an inch of ground to be seen prior to the strimmer doing its thing. Sadly, I don't have photo's to add to this review, but apparently the neighbours were hanging over their fence to marvel at this wonderful strimmer. Highly recommended.

Best strimmer I have ever had, absolutely brutal the way it rips through margin grass and grass on verges. The line feeds through automatically very well too meaning no stopping to feed through manually. Battery life is not sensational but is ok. A shoulder strap would make this strimmer perfect as it can start to feel slightly heavy after using for a little time, that said it is a well-balanced tool so not much strain on the arms and wrists.

Good bit of kit, not too heavy and easy to use. Down side is battery doesn't last quite as long as hoped. And currently I can't use it as I had to return the damaged Lawnmower I bought it with and both the batteries and charger! If I buy another 40 amp battery it's £129.99! More than the strimmer.
