Excellent
Best bread maker I've ever had. Makes perfect bread every time. So much easier than the other bread makers I've had as you can put your ingredients in in any order as this has an automatic yeast dispenser. Very pleased would highly recommend and worth every penny.

Panasonic Breadmaker - Brilliant
What a lovely machine. The bread is so much nicer than in my old machine which used milk powder. None of that is used in these recipes. It uses oil, marg/butter or milk. Bread tastes so much better.

Undecided
I bought this as a replacement for my last breadmaker (also a Panasonic - which had stopped working). It came with a piece of plastic broken off a corner but as I really needed to use it I decided it was better just too forego sending it back as it was only cosmetic. So far it has made excellent white bread but the fruit dispenser didn't work on the first use. It never worked at all on the last one opening as soon as you put anything in it. This one just didn't open. I will give it another try and if it doesn't work I will be returning it.

Most functions unavailable for GF
I have to eat gluten-free food and commercial GF bread is usually pretty awful. So I prefer to make my own.I bought this particular model because of the yeast dispenser - keeping the yeast away from the liquids (until the right moment) can be tricky with GF breads. I was therefore disappointed to find that the timer function doesn't work with the GF programme, meaning that the yeast dispenser was completely superfluous.Apparently this is because the addition of milk and eggs in most GF bread recipes makes them more prone to bacterial contamination, and therefore they shouldn't hang around at room temperature overnight. Well, maybe, but there are ways round that (add most of the liquid as ice cubes for example). I would quite like to wake up to fresh baked bread but short of getting up two hours early, turning on the machine, and then going back to bed, it isn't going to happen. Certainly it would have been nice to know that before I bought the machine :(.I did in fact try making GF bread on a standard programme but it wasn't very successful. GF bread only needs one rise and limited kneading - the extra working of the dough rather reduced the bread quality.Additionally the yeast dispenser holds, at most, two teaspoons, which is insufficient for some of my recipes (and in fact might be for some gluten containing breads). Even the nut and raisin dispenser doesn't operate on the GF programme (why?)So all in all, although what I get out of the GF programme is perfectly acceptable, I feel aggrieved that the extra functionality I paid for isn't actually available to me, and I wish I'd gone for a cheaper model.I didn't buy mine from Amazon but it is this model.
