I use this on my PD Dialysis cath instead of tape. You get lots of lanyards and different colors. It is easy on the neck and doesn't irritate the skin. I have a long line cath and this lanyard is perfect for that reason. It is not overly long so it holds the cath all day without tape. I highly recommend using a lanyard versus tape. Over time, no matter what type of tape I used, it irritated my skin and itches something fierce. Now I get a break from tape once I disconnect from the machine. Works well in the shower also. No need to take it off.
