## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used to help cycle an aquarium by adding underneath substrate?**
A: Unfortunately this is the wrong type of bacteria. The bacteria in your filter are nitrifying and these are not.
I do believe they would be useful in aquaria for releasing insoluble compounds for the plants etc but not this product as it contains Humic acid which will also stain your water black. Hopefully in the future I will develop a more tank friendly version.

**Q: Can this be used in soil**
A: These are brilliant in soil.
Once every week makes a huge difference in yields if all the other aspects are dialled in.

**Q: Hi ive just bought this how much would you use in say a 5gl compost tea?**
A: For 5 gallons you should use 3 grams (0.1 ounces, about an eigth of an oz). For 1 gallon it's 0.6 grams.

**Q: Would this work for powdered mildew?**
A: No.
