It doesn't say 'alcohol' but I didn't know if they had any tricky names for it hiding on the label.** A: Nope **Q: Is this stronger than American Crew Fiber?** A: I would say the hold is about the same between the two. The main difference to note is the finish of the product. The pomade is a high shine product, where as the fiber is a low shine product. **Q: What changed in the new version of the heavy hold pomade?** A: The old formula was way more stiff/hard to manipulate. The new one is perfect! It’s a cross between the old and the regular hold pomade. Much more easier to work with and I find my hair styles better since I can actually work it through. **Q: How does this compare with american crew grooming creme? (i have curly hair)** A: My hair is long, straight and thick so different than yours. To me It handles better than cream and doesn’t feel greasy at all.
