I know it will hold up to anything I throw at it. I probably should’ve went with the 6 inch drop over the 8 inch, as the 8 inch is a little lower than I like on my vehicle once loaded with a travel trailer and the truck is squatting. With a 6” drop if i were to load something heavier, it would have more clearance from the ground. This hitch is also very heavy. I got in trouble when it delivered. I was at work and my wife tried to bring it in. I also don't think the delivery guy was very pleased when he had to take it to my porch. This hitch weighs like 70 pounds. I think the 6” is like 55 lbs, which probably would’ve gotten me in less trouble. Once i get larger tires, that may help with the ground clearance on the 8” drop.
