3/8’’ ID × 1/2’’ OD - 10 ft Clear Plastic Vinyl Tubing, Flexible PVC Hose Lightweight BPA Free and Non-Toxic vinyl Tube for Transfer Water Air Oil

I'm using this tubing to help drain the water from my freezer when I defrost it. I used to keep a shallow pan at the drain hose from the bottom of the freezer, but it had to be emptied every 15 minutes and made a mess in my basement. This tubing runs about 15 ft. from my freezer to my sump pump. I also added a "T" adapter at the beginning of the run to allow air in the line as it's draining. Because it's soft, I also used some between my kitchen fridge and the stove top frame to keep crumbs and junk from falling between them.

I purchased the 3/8’’ ID × 1/2’’ OD 10 ft Clear Plastic Vinyl Tubing for a variety of projects, and I’m really impressed with its quality. I had a hard time finding the right sized tubing for Good Ideas rain barrels. I have several, and bought a few extra to piggyback for overflow on the ones that get more rain from the roof than others. They connect via a protuberance molded into the barrel; there is one on each side on the back, and it’s not the best system, but it’s what I have. So, I drilled a hole in it to let water flow out, and then struggled to find a 3/4 ID clear vinyl tubing at either of our big box hardware stores.This one was long enough to connect a few barrels for overflow, which is great; it also stretches a bit with encouragement (or possibly a hair dryer) to fit over the weird protuberance on my barrels. The company sells kits that are ridiculously pricey to accomplish that, and I refuse to buy those, but this worked out really nicely!!! Will buy again if I need more, but so far ten feet should connect at least 3-4, depending on spacing.
