Short activation period
I bought several different types of these to see which works the best and this was my 2nd favorite. This has great battery life and brightness. It does have a very short on time after triggered so it shuts off while I'm still doing things and then I'm in the dark. Otherwise, it works well

Motion sense could be better, but decent battery life
Useful light, I use it under a desk shelf. I have a hard time getting it to work when in motion detect mode, it’s not consistently detecting movement. However, for my needs I can live with the inconsistency. This works great for additional desk lighting, I love the magnetic feature because it makes it easy to pop it off to charge before putting it right back underneath my shelf to brighten my desk area. Battery life lasts longer than expected so far, love the customizable color temp and brightness. Give this light a try

This is a Nice Little Light
This is a nice little light that will be handy in several different places. There are two options for either having the light on all the time or on with a sensor, and the light works while being charged. The sensor is very responsive and has a wide enough arc that it can detect someone walking into a room from a fair distance and angle. I put it on the table on motion sensing and left it there for a whole day to test the battery life and sensitivity, both of which seemed to pass with flying colors. The back is magnetic and as shown in the photo I added, it firmly holds the light in place. It also comes with three metal squares with adhesive for mounting the light to a nonmetallic surface which holds the light in place very well. There are three light setting 3000k, 4500k, and 6500k - technical ways of saying daylight, soft white, and sort of a mix of the two settings. None of these settings will blow you away with their brightness, in fact I did give it a four-star rating because the light could be a little brighter for certain applications. Now don't let my critique of the brightness shy you away from purchasing this light, I do like it and will probably pick up a couple more eventually myself.

Decently bright light, with good motion detection
As a VINE member I received this fan for free in exchange for an honest review. This light is pretty bright and has good motion detection. It can be used in closets or other dark rooms where you would like a light to turn on automatically when you enter, stay on for a few minutes, and then turn off automatically when you leave. I have this one in my garage. It is attached to a metal shelving rack using the magnetic backing to “stick” to the shelving. I find it useful when I have my hands full and want some light when I enter at night without needing to turn on/off lights manually. It has a built in battery that is rechargeable via USB.While this light is bright (enough), it’s NOT going to light up a room like a lamp or overhead ceiling light. Just enough for you to see your way around and provide visibility. The magnetic backing on this isn’t as strong as I would have liked. It does stay attached to my metal shelving, but not very strongly.I GAVE THIS 4 stars, but it’s really like 3.5

Bright light, but the motion detector doesn't always work
This bright light works great in my dark closet. It was easy to attach to the wall, and it is surprisingly secure. If the light doesn't turn on when I open the door, I just push the button to activate it, which always works. Overall, it's a good light to install in a dark space.

Well designed, but limited brightness
For a smaller, enclosed space this probably works well. But for me, the light isn't bright enough. That said, It seems well made and it's well designed. Although I haven't yet mounted it (still looking for a place that this will work for me), the metal mounting tabs seem to hold very tight to the back of the light (three are used to mount the light, and three extra mounting tabs are included).

Battery life could be longer? Update: Nope. It's all good!
Update: After having the light for a little over a month, I've noticed that we haven't needed to charge it nearly as often as we did in the beginning. Why is this? I have no idea. Maybe we weren't fully charging it at first? Maybe the space is getting less use now that the kids are back at school full time and haven't had to stay home sick for two miraculous weeks? I don't know. Whatever it is that happened, I like it.Original review: I don’t really have any complaints about this light. We use it in our kitchen closet/pantry. It’s mounted above the door, facing down, so that it turns on when it detects the door being opened. There is absolutely nothing worth seeing in this closet (it’s actually an eye-sore) but we keep a lot of necessities in there (including our trash and recycling) so, a little illumination is beneficial when rifling through the chaos. The adhesion that mounts this light is fantastic— my husband first placed it in a spot where it couldn’t detect any motion so I had to change it’s location (if you want something done right…). Removing the light from it’s magnetic strips is a breeze (though not so easy that it could fall off), but the adhesive that attaches the magnetic strips to the surface is… intense, and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t going to get those suckers off without taking the paint with ‘em. I’m sure you could slide a razor underneath and gently remove it that way, but you’re probably still going to lose some paint. Lucky for me, the strips were in a place that no one would see unless really looking, and time is precious, sooooo they live there now. Also lucky for me, the manufacturer predicted the likelihood of us humans making errors, and supplied us with extra adhesive magnetic strips. If I HAD to complain about something, it would be the battery life. It plugs in to re-charge, so no battery replacement is necessary—yay!—but after a couple weeks of having it we’ve had to recharge it a few times. Maybe I have high expectations. Maybe I’m a little lazy. Maybe it’s because we have 3 kids in this house who eat roughly 40,000 snacks in a day, thereby creating an unforgivingly constant stream of wrappers that need to get thrown away in the closet where the poor light resides. So, it could very well be that the battery isn’t actually the issue at all. It’s more likely that the battery gets drained quickly because, much like the adults in this house, the light can’t get a break.

Great Light but not very sturdy
I want to love this product BUT it constantly falls down from under my cabinet. It is a great lamp and is great with all the different light brightness options but it is constantly falling down! The magnets are just not strong enough.
