Did it bring the cable to download pictures

No it does not come with a USB cable. You have to insert the memory card into the computer to download the pictures onto your computer.

Why do my videos have a clicking sound recorded on them?

If you are zooming while taking video the camera microphone may be picking up the noise of the lenses movements. If the video is jerky along with the click it points to your memory card being too slow to write the information from the camera.

I just bought this camera and was surprised that it comes with NO memory card. Am I supposed to know to buy a memory card separately?

Most digital cameras come with no memory card. You buy the size you like. Some cameras have a limited amount of internal storage; most do not.

Trying to find a compact camera that's small enough to take along to concerts, and takes decent action shots. How is the size and action-shot quality?

The camera is light weight and about 1/2 the size of an SLR. It is light enough to comfortably carry...I think less than 1 pound. I have only a few action shots but using the right settings they look good. These were taken at SeaWorld during the show. The zoom is incredible and works in all functions including video... not very common to allow zoom during video action. Please forgive the choppy verbage I am responding from my cell phone while traveling in Europe. Dr. R
