These are the lowest priced 3-ply guards I could find that had decent reviews. Mine took 7 weeks to receive. Installed a black one on my J Mascis Squier Jazzmaster and was nearly a perfect fit. Needed a little shaving around the neck heel, one side of one of the pickup routes, and the 3-way selector switch. All easily done by hand with a razor in about 15 minutes.Note these do NOT come with shielding tape across the entire back. Just a short strip across the volume/tone/output only. Would've been great if the entire guard had shielding tape but it's easy/cheap enough to stick some on there yourself.

Holes weren’t perfect, but neither were the holes in the stock one I pulled off. Everything fit fine in the end. Not a huge fan of the gold pickguard on the j mascis jazzmasters, so very pleased with how this looks. If you are going for a white on white look for your j mascis, the cream color is the one you want.

bought for a squire classic vibe, the stock tortoise shell is cheesy.sits fine everywhere except the bridge piece holes were not quite in the right position. i just deleted them with a soldering iron, and now it sits flush, and luckily, the bridge piece covers the work i did!. really makes the jazzmaster look more vintage and respectable. might fit perfectly on a real jazz master or other models. i don't regret buying it, if you're working on your guitars, you probably have enough skill to make minor adjustments. cheers.

There mint color is thankfully a lot more subdued than in the product pictures, and looks great on my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster. There were a few minor things I did notice though when installing: The body screw holes by the rhythm circuit and Jack we're a little off, but aligned a little better once the rest of the pickguard was screwed in, there is only shielding around the pots unlike the original anodized guard which had shielding across the entire back, and the thicker 3 ply material means that the rhythm rollers sit almost flush with the pickguard; this isn't necessarily a bad thing to some since it means your settings are less likely to get knocked around, but I would suggest getting some larger rollers to go with it.Overall there are some minor issues that are expected from a cheap pickguard, but it's still a great way to change the look of your Jazzmaster while not spending a lot and with little effort.

The pick guard did fit my Classic Player Jazzmaster, with no modification. Even though it's designed for the other Jazzmaster. This pick guard is different from the stock Classic Player pickguard, in the way the holes are cut for the bridge mounts. The Classic Player pickguard has one large bridge length hole, that allows adjustment height of the modern (tonepros type)bridge. This pickguard has two holes ,that fit perfectly over the bridge mounts screws, but can restricts the lowering adjustment of your Classic Player bridge. Wasn't a issue with my current setup, but can see where it easily could be. Other than that everything lined up perfectly, very tight fit.That being said, it works, at a fraction of the cost for one designed specifically for a Classic Player Jazzmaster......it ships from China, expect every bit of the shipping estimate of two to three weeks.

Fits my Squier j Mascis jazzmaster almost perfectly. A couple of the holes were a fraction of a millimeter off and one of the rhythm circuit knobs rubbed against the guard, but those things were easily fixed with a dremel. Overall very happy with the quality, fit, and finish. Perfect mint color to give it that clean 60s look

I bought a used J Mascis JM and the pick guard was replaced with an after market guard that didn't fit exactly. A few reviewers noted that this pick guard did fit the JM JM so I purchased this model in black. All holes matched but the volume/tone wheel screw attachment holes did not line up. I turned both wheels all the way up and covered them with black electrical tape. The rhythm circuit is still useable and I think it's better than having a loose pick guard. It's a nice pick guard and well priced but beware if you have a JM JM.

Fitted to A MIM Fender Jazzmaster classic 60s (the Surf Green one.) All holes aligned with the originals - no redrilling or adjustments required. (The holes around the bridge thimbles were quite a tight fit.)However there is only a small amount of screening on the back of the scratchplate around the lower controls and jack socket and so I added my own under the upper controls and toggle switch to copy the arrangement on my orignal fender scratchplate.I think a really good replacement for the very White original.

Perfect fit for a Squier Deluxe Jazzmaster - no drilling required! Only a very small amount of shielding sadly - would have been great to have a fully shielded pickguard, or at least shielding over all places that cover the electronics.

Absolutely perfect fit for my Squier and a stunningly deep tortoiseshell finish. 100% right!

I ordered this in black and sent me tortoise shell (which is what my Jazzmaster currently already has). Good quality pick guard, can't fault that.

Love it, looks great on my TVL, the original got damaged so had to replace it. This was perfect. Only difference is the edges which are a bit brilliant white, but other than that very happy with it. Second one I’ve ordered now.
