Works exactly as advertised
This is the 3rd or 4th USB adapter I've used. They all have run hot and stopped working. This 1 has been working exactly as advertised for the past 3 or 4 months and shows no signs of giving up the ghost I use almost all of its 7 extenders. It runs warm but not hot, when and if it decides to quit, I'll simply buy another. If you want an extender, this is the one

JUNK!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Not only will it not charge your phone or tablet it will not even maintain your charge. Battery life will continue to decrease even though the device says it's charging. COMPLETE JUNK AND WASTE OF MONEY!! Does not even deserve 1 start but you can't select less than one. I give this 0 stars.

functional, not fancy
I used this in my racing simulator rig as a way to add some ports for future expansion. it fine and works so far. the grey label was bubbled and peeled up on one end as I was handling it to install it. it's hidden in a box so I don't care. as I stated above, functional, not fancy.

Complete garbage
Thing wouldn’t work at all. It was really cheap and wonky. The lights kept going on and off, and nothing would charge through it. Tossed it right in the trash.

only works with it's very short cable
I love getting this device with 7 usb ports to assignment the embarrassingly low 2 ports out of the backside of the new iMacs. It works fine BUT the cord is super short (2 or 3 inches) causing the device to dangle awkwardly in the air. Easy fix your might say, just add an extension cable. I tried three usb extension cables and the device doesn't work with any of them. Had to go back to the short cable. And the short cable is permanent attached to the device. WHYYYYYY does it not work with a usb extension!!!????
