DEVIreg Touch Thermostat (140F1064)

Bought the Touch Thermostat to replace a DEVIreg 550 whose display was failing. So impressed I bought a second one for another room.Very easy to install, connections clearly marked. Very easy to setup, just follow the walk-through steps. Very easy to programme on/off periods and temperatures. Very versatile – quickly change timings, temperatures, etc. You can even programme a holiday period so that the heating doesn’t come on. Clear, bright, auto-dimming display. Delighted. Highly recommended.IMPORTANT TIP: If you are replacing a DEVIreg 550 with this Touch Thermostat , AND leaving the original floor sensor in place, then when you go through the setup procedure choose a 10K sensor (e.g. FENIX). This will ensure the correct temperatures will be displayed. If you select the DEVI 15K sensor then incorrect temperatures will be displayed and the heating may be turned on even during ECONOMY (OFF) periods. (This advice from Danfoss/DEVI UK sorted my problem when initially I couldn’t get the system working properly.) Works very well now. I dare say it’s not an issue if you install the supplied DEVI floor sensor.

Had a older model of this where screen had gone so had to upgrade. Had it fitted by a tradesman. Really like it and works well. Better and easier to use than the older version.

Bought this to replace the frustratingly difficult to program Devireg 550. As mentioned in other reviews, installation was pretty much a straight swap and it is so much better. Easy and intuitive to program and seems to be doing as expected. Wish I’d done this a couple of years ago!

Very easy to install as a replacement for the 550. Has our underfloor heating working once again after 3 thermostat failures. Set up is less than a minute once wired in. Just ensure minimum floor temperature is not set to high to cause heating to run continuosly. Great product.

So much easier to use than the Devrig 550 that it has replaced. Instructions could be clearer as it took a while to realise that the Economic setting for temperature needed to be reduced down to the frost setting, as otherwise the heating was on all the time! I particularly like the timer display which enables you to check that you have successfully set the time for each day of the week.

This is more a review for the entire Devi underfloor system, rather than just the thermostat.Have this in two rooms in my house and it cannot heat them, can't come close to keeping them warm. Really disappointing. One room is tiny and the underfloor system can be on max temperature 24/7 in the winter, and the room will never stop being freezing. I keep radiator central heating on still and that does 90% of the work.Do not expect this to be able to heat your rooms.
