I recently ordered the Aztec calendar poncho and am satisfied with it very big spacious and comfortable couldn't ask for a better poncho should go over my coats my sweaters when it's time to layer up sweater than leather coat and punch over it s*** produce enough warmth through this winter while adding a unique style that is my own I am Chicano born and raised and Southern California living out in the midwest in Missouri wanted to bring a little culture back to myself to remind me where I came from and how was raised we stand proud and handle ours

I used to feel like an outsider at my family reunions because I was raised in Kansas and never learned to speak Spanish. Every time I went to mexico with my mother to visit my 100's of cousins ,aunts,uncles, and the thousand other people that seemed to show up at my grandmothers house because they heard there would be Tecate and carne asada being served, I was always ignored....they all thought I was dim witted and "special" because I could not join in on the conversations or understand why one or more of my family members got into a fight after finishing off the tequila. Well that all changed after I bought this and wore it to my last family gathering. Everyone was speechless in awe of my transformation... I was hoisted into the air and carried to the town square where I was promptly given the keys to the city( incidentally the keys looked suspiciously like the keys to a 1970 El Camino... But I digress). After receiving the keys the town mayor was run out of town and I was given his job and his burro! All I can say about this poncho is it F'n ROCKS!....the only fear I have is if I take it off I believe I might be kidnapped and held for ransom by a cartel! Fortunately for me...I never ever plan on taking this off. I WILL be buried in this...along side my new burro!....everyone...if you want your life to change forever, BUY THIS PONCHO!

I have been looking for something like this item for quite some time. I read the reviews on this and they all sounded excellent! I am so glad I purchased this item! It is exactly what I wanted! This thing truly is like wearing a blanket. I bought this for camping and going to music festivals. It folded on very small so it's easy to place in a backpack while sitting by a fire and easy and convenient to pull out and throw on when going for a hike. This thing is large enough to be used as a blanket and it's pretty darn warm. I am female 5 foot 6 and this poncho goes about 4 inches below the bottom of my knees. When I read the other reviews, I was afraid that it was going to be too long and I was going to trip on it. This is the exact length I was looking for. The tassels the bottom are not connected, they are easy to lose but can be fixed if you talk to them all on. It was quick and easy to do. This poncho is very warm. Im looking forward to using it! this is great to double up as a blanket and a poncho! The artwork on this is very beautiful also! I am very happy with this purchase! if you are thinking about getting this item, stop thinking and just buy it!

If I'm being honest I bought this several drinks deep into the evening, while trying to be funny. I ordered it not sure of the dimensions or any details other than the color. I even ordered two, but they are reversible so it's really like 4.Humor, whiskey, and bad decisions aside. THIS THING IS ONE OF MY TOP 5 FAVORITE purchases, hands down. It's comfortable, it's warm, and it makes me feel like the man with no name. I wear at the house nonstop because my wife and kids have polar bear blood.My wife hates it, which means it was a perfect dad purchase and easily worth 6 stars if I could rate that high. It is good quality and durable. It really is one of my favorite all time purchases.

Could be much thicker, but not bad for the price. Clearly made by a machine and not the highest quality, but one pays fot what one gets in terms of woolen apparel. I'd consider buying this again if it were the only sarape on Amazon.
