How different are the shades soft brown and medium brown? Any guidance?

I'm a natural blonde. I use the medium brown. So does my daughter who has medium brown hair with blonde highlights. Soft brown is reddish. Blonde is almost gray in appearance. Dark brown is too dark for a blonde.

Does this last all day like the Anastasia brow definer pencil?

NO. It absolutely does not compare to Anastasia. I have both, also have Anastasia’s pomade, NYX’s pencil and Ana’s is by far superior to all but it also costs $30. So you get what you pay for. I pick what I use based on my needs for the day.

What do you suggest for dark brown skin and black hair?

How "dark"? I'm like ULoveMegz/Andrea Renee/Jackie Aina (Youtubers)...maybe a touch lighter than they are but Medium Brown (310 is great) but 315 would be good too and I think that looks relatively deep on me. I consider them and myself to be "dark brown skin" even though they or myself are not "super chocolate". If you're darker than say a 430 (I wear 400+410 or mix Revlon ColorStay's Caramel & Cappuccino shades for combination-to-oily skin foundation in equal parts) or deeper than Revlon ColorStay's Cappuccino shades for combination-to-oily skin foundation shade then 315-Deep Brown in this brow pencil might be better.

Is this a felt tip or is it like a cream or is it hard stick?
