Q: Would this pill box be water proof?

Dear friends, this medicine box has a double structure, which is resistant to splashing water and rain, but there is no sealing ring, so it is not safe to throw it in the water.

Q: I'm looking for something to carry those single-use packets of benedryl, advil, etc. Could I cut out the compartments and just use the clamshell case?

looking at mine I suppose you could but it wouldn't be easy. when you take the clear plastic top off, the dividers are pretty thick. you would need to use like a dremel or something similar to grind them out or a heated up blade to melt as you tried to cut them out. I would image you could find another small container with out dividers. You could use an Altoids container, lol.

Q: Are these deep enough to hold insulin pen needles?

I don't believe the container is long enough to hold the pen. I am not sure about the needles, as I don't take insulin. Hope that helps.
