This really is WARM! It seals around the neck really good! It's a comfortable fit and soft texture!

Fit fine and was very warm, the fit at the front of the chin is abit annoying but don't think that can be greatly improved at all. Well worth the price!

First of all, very well packaged in a shrunk-wrapped bag so it was really small and came individually boxed in a small, heavy-weight white box. I got the grey camo design and bought in quantity. We live in the Pacific Northwest so we don't usually need something that would be this warm but I'm donating them to our local Food Bank for this upcoming weekend that is supposed to be extremely cold (in the teens with snow)Fit: I tried it on over my ponytail and there was still a bit of room to spare. I don't think it's supposed to be snug so I think I would describe the fit as "appropriately generous".The mask: ok, I didn't get this item at all. Yes, you could keep it to go with the trapper's hat and basically have the front of your face almost completely covered but the way it fits is weird. You could un-snap it from both sides and wear it as a true mask since it comes with elastics to go around your ears and the fit would be better but it if you leave it snapped on the hat, I can't imagine really any scenario that it would be comfortable AND provide decent visibility but at least you'd be warm.Condition that it comes out of the shrink-wrapped plastic and box: Just give the hat a couple of really hard shakes and everything seems to fall into place.Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by the trapper hat. It exceeded my expectations for the price.

There's a lot to like about this hat given the price. It's comfortable, soft, warm. The big problem is that I cannot wear it the way I want to, and I don't understand how it's supposed to be used.You'd think, given what the hat looks like, that it would provide standard ushanka type side flaps, only extending down to your chin and neck. But look carefully. Notice how the vendor-suuplied photos don't show a single person actually wearing it...There's a reason for that -- the neck area just does not work well. It seems to be designed for a really really wide neck. So while the head part fits very well, no matter how tight you adjust the velcro around your neck, it's extremely loose.Maybe people in China wear these along with a very bulky scarf? Or maybe they want it to be loose so it just blocks wind but nothing more? Regardless it's not what I wanted. You're better off with a traditional ushanka hat (that you can tighten round the neck) and a good cahsmere scarf; at least you can arrange the scarf to be as tight as you want.It's a real shame. I had high hopes for this as being exactly the cold outdoor hat I wanted, but sadly no.

It’s perfect for those days to go out in cold wet, winter weather, or taking out the trash or working in the yard. Great price!

I bought this for my boyfriend to use during ice fishing trips, expecting him not to wear it much because it's not his usual style. However, I was pleasantly surprised when he brought it along and used it several times. He even complimented how warm it kept him, especially with the face covering that came in handy on the 4wheeler. It's definitely worth it for the value, exceeding our expectations and proving to be a valuable addition to our outdoor gear.

My brother in law was looking for one. He really loves it. Warm and study, well made, and the face mask snaps on and off and also has ear elastic loops.

This trapper hat will keep your head warm. Definitely recommend.
