Heritage Leather 1001 Standard Single Bit Leather Axe Sheath, natural leather

Hi, the quality of the product is good, the leather is very tough, it fits my axe perfectly, and it will likely protect my axe for some time. However, and this may be MY own mistake; but I stored my axe in a shed and the sheath's metal bolts ending up running, and bizarrely, rust started to appear fairly soon after. It is likely my shed is too damp, but be sure to store your axe when fully sheathed in a dry place. But just to clarify; otherwise this is good quality product. The leather is cut to a fine degree and it fits very well around my axe.

I thought that this would be an easy product to find but a hunt around online has shown that there are few of these around.This is to cover the head of a 2.5lb Spear & Jackson razor-sharp. It's a nice fit but will cover larger, medium sized axe heads quite easily.This is extremely well made. One piece construction in very hard wearing leather. Stitched & riveted with two studs over the head to slip the axe through.This will not only protect the axe very well but looks very smart when fitted.My one gripe is that the manufacturer saw fit to staple their card to the face of the cover. It has only left 4 small holes but its a bit daft when this is such an attractive & well made item.Nonetheless this remains a great item. It's not at all overpriced as it will certainly last for some time & is of a practical & well made design.

I love this product but I agree with some of the other reviews; incredibly stupid it has a staple through it!

My only complaint with this is that there is carboard stapled to the item, meaning you need to removed two staples from a leather product ...I would have much preferred being able to order this without the a for mentioned staple holes.

A wee bit on the big side, but extremely well put together.

My only problem is that the packaging through the Leather, which makes no sense. But high quality leather, snug fit, and very good stiching.

I'm very pleased with this; very solid and safe. Would fit a larger axe, but won't fall off my slightly smaller one.

Lovely, well designed and constructed product, but unfortunately had to be returned as it was the wrong size...my fault! Regards, the wild camper.
