Curad Super Absorbent Wound Pad, Medium, 4" x 4", 10 Count, 3 Pack

The most absorbent gauze, hands down! I’d argue that these are even better than ABD pads.. They lock in any drainage - no worrying about seeping through layers of clothing. I used these religiously when dealing with a very heavily draining wound. I went from changing other brand’s “super absorbent” gauze every 30 minutes to these, only needing to change every 3 hours! Game changer!

These patches are very thick and can absorb heavy drainage for a couple days and keeps the odor in!

Exactly what I was looking for. Needed something without adhesive on them. A box of 10 at the store is arond $15, so buying a package of three boxes was very, very reasonable. Well known brand and quality was great.

Work well, but a little tough to remove.

This is basically a My Bad but hopefully will keep someone else from making the same mistake. A home health aide recommended Curad for bandaging saying it was easier to remove than other brands. My 93 year old mother has fragile skin so this seemed worth pursuing. Using Curad as the search term this product came up first. I was looking for strips but, coincidentally, we use a 4 X 4 silicone foam dressing for another chronic wound and I thought 'Hey! Half the cost!' Unfortunately it does not have an adhesive edge making it useless for my purposes.

These are bandages essentially, so there’s not a whole lot to say about them other than they’re pretty absorbent, which is what I needed at the time. Anything that makes me feel better is a good deal in my book.

My husband injured his hand and needed stitches. I used these to wrap his hand daily. He said they were very comfortable and pain free.

My dog has an unfortunate ongoing condition that isn't treatable. Management is the only option, which involves bandaging part of her foot. I cut these down just a bit and they work great. They cushion the area and work great in a bandage with some vetwrap. The area bleeds sometimes, and these pads are very absorbant. She's been more active since I started using these pads! I think they're more comfortable for her and she is able to run around without damaging the area (with additional protection--but these pads are the first very important layer).

Dealing with a stubborn slow healing diabetic ulcer on my foot, these wound pads absorb the exudate much better than an abdo pad. Scored a great deal on this 3 pack too that will last me quite a while
