This Thread Worked!
I was semi skeptical whether this would work but this thread really works. I embroidered the evening after getting the thread and but there was barely any glow but the next night it was glowing bright. I used it to embroider patches and embroider on my shirts. It was durable and the thread didn't have problems in the machine.

Works in Brother PE800 for machine embroidery
This is machine embroidery thread, not for hand embroidery or cross stitch. It is rather thin but does stitch out well so thickness was not a problem. It is slightly off white, with yellow-gray tinge. When stitched-out and compared with white you can see a difference (see photo) but when viewed alone it looks white. I did verify that it glows after it is charged. I look forward to some fun projects with this thread. I know there were some negative reviews with complaints of thread breakage, fuzziness and loops. I must have a different lot or got lucky because I have not had any problems so far. I will update later if I have problems BTW I purchased this as “used very good”condition. The box was bent and discolored but the thread was still wrapped in the plastic and without stains. I feel that I got a good value for money. Addend: I stitched out a name key fob in this thread and then charged it for about 25 minutes under a light bulb. See images. I think this will work best with denser stitches and would benefit from charging under a light fit at least 30 min.

THIS IS INSANE
Idk where to start. I tried to upload videos and pictures but couldn’t figure it out. The texture is amazing. The color is EXACTLY what you’d expect- white in day, and freaking glows in the dark like a beast. I was like a 2-year old with a glow stick for the first time, in awe that my beautiful design looked like an adult appropriate wear during the day, but man was I entertained when the lights went out. It is definitely durable and versatile, so I went out and made gifts for all the people I love masquerading as adults during daytime. I went on and ordered the big bundle with all the colors, because everyone needs whimsy in their life when nobody else is looking.

Value priced, Not Top Tier, but VERY fun!
I love the way this embroidery thread glows in my projects, but it does tend to be more temperamental than other, standard embroidery thread I use. That said, it’s still a really fun products and glows very well when charged in natural light especially. This thread will work, but it’s a bit thinner and less “silky” than typical machine-embroidery threads. It may fray or break on occasion, but that hasn’t been so common, or enough of a hindrance, to prevent me from using it in projects for my personal use. I hope this review is helpful.

awesome product
This is an awesome thread but it does fray alot but it does glow like they say. I am making a quilt and using it to add a little flair of color at night. Pretty awesome. Only problem is that it is constantly fraying at the needle.

Poor quality thread
I purchased this thread based on the reviews. Most were saying that it worked great for them. For me it did not. THE GOOD: 1. Has a great glow rate. Really bright in the dark. The BAD: 1. Continuous breaks. The thread is not strong enough to work properly for machine embroidery. I have a high quality machine and tried adjusting tension in both directions. Nothing worked. Just kept breaking on me. 2. Very dirty turn out when stitching. Thread looks frayed and very fuzzy. Not clean at all. 3. Created a lot of nesting with my bobbin. Conclusion: Even throw it glows really nicely, the quality of the thread is really poor. Not worth the buy.

Glow is great but thread breaks constantly
Got this thread to try and make glow in the dark patches. The glow works as advertised and is great. The downside would be the thread quality, unfortunately. The threat continually breaks in my embroidery machine so I have to stop a few times to rethread the needle which is not so easy with this type of thread but I make it work. It’s a big roll so it should last me but I don’t think I’ll be buying much of this in the future.

Easiest glow in the dark thread to sew!
I'm in love with this thread! I've used several different brands of glow in the dark thread and all have left me disappointed and frustrated. All the others are scratchy, metallic feeling, breaking and shredding easily as you sew. This one sews like butter! I used a size 90 topstitch needle, loosened my top tension a smidge, and then let 'er rip! No shredding, no breaking! It feels like and sews like regular 40 weight thread. But it glows! I don't know how long it will glow compared to other brands, but I'll be using this one for sure! It has a tremendous advantage in price point as well. Others are only a couple hundred yards for the same price as this 3000-yard spool.

This thread exactly matches the pictures and glows in the dark wonderfully. Can't wait to use it in some projects.
