Works well enough
Transfers data unlike my old one so was able to pull files off my 3gs. Very short cable but for the price you really can't complain. Wouldn't recommend as a charging cable because of how short the cable is but for data transfer it's more than enough.

Up and running
Apple don't make these any more, of course, but you need one for an old iPad, iPhone or iPod. We tried various makes but always got the message: "This accessory is not supported." Then we bought the very reasonably priced deleyCON 30-pin connector and – hey presto! – it worked just like the Apple original. Very pleased with it.
