This is a well-designed kit. There is a soft foam block and a range of grits in the sanding paper. Folding the paper around the block works perfectly. The size and texture of the block make it work very well. And the box it comes in works quite well for long-term storage. This turned out to be a smart purchase!

This set has kinda been my go-to since I got it. The system works really well. The finest paper isnt as fine as I would like-- maybe I can order finer, but it lasts well, due to the texture, and it sticks well to the block.

The sandpaper stays on it doesn’t fall apart. Does a great job.

Inexpensive the different washable sanding sheets fit tight and secure for control. My hands have arthritissi to avoid pain . I use exercise fingerless gloves. We have old furniture I am restoring. Antiques can be quite beautiful. I have an Industrial Rustic style going. Works well in our adobe brick home with secure gates on windows and doors. Already used on my cabinets that needed touch. Perfect. Durable and easy to rinse off to clean. Exactly what I needed. Soft for my hands!

I got these because I was tired of sanding sponges that fall apart. This sanding block and sand paper has held up for several hours. The paper easily attaches and pulls off. Each sand paper pad is just long enough to cover 3 of the 4 sides of the block. I really like the idea that I can buy replacement sand paper pads in different grits.

I contemplated purchasing this sanding kit, however I finally bought this one. It is a great concept but there is a design flaw that would be a pretty simple fix. Just the top & bottom of the sponge have the black hook surface. It would be a much better product if the sponge was wrapped completely (minus the 2 ends) with the black surface & the seam be placed in the middle of the top or bottom. This would eliminate the black surface from being torn away from the corners (hasn't happened yet but still too early to tell when that will happen.) With the seam in the middle of the face this will prevent the black surface from peeling. Now for my review. The sponge is firm, yet not too firm which means it will not sand intricate work. You need specialized sanding blocks for that. The adhesion between the paper & sponge is fantastic. There is no way the paper is going to come loose. The design of the grit on the paper allows for dust/debris to come out from under the grit pads, yet giving you a complete sanding surface. I used the sponge on both acrylic & alkyd surfaces as well as raw pvc. I used all the different grits. So far I am very happy with this package. A couple more notes. It would be nice if this kit came in a plastic box instead of cheap breakable cardboard. Also an option to purchase additional sponges without sandpaper.

I sanded some hard plastic with this and was amazed that it lasts much longer and cuts better than my Festool sanding disk. The sponge is nice and firm and holds the paper well and if tightly wrapped allows for nice sharp edges on the sandpaper. I am giving this 5 stars because also the selection of sandpaper is really good. The price is worth it as it lasts a really long time. My recommendation … try it !

Love the kit. Nicely set up and good selection of different grit sanding papers. The papers also fit some orbital sanders too

Again, when things work and make your life easier it’s worth the cost. Not cheap but it’s a great block with good abrasive nets. Works great with my 3m nets too. Bonus. Great kit. Get one.

Nice system. The sponge has lasted a heafty load of decorating. Good performance of sandpaper, and each sheets lasts well. Very happy.

Good abrasion on the sheets and a nice selection of grits, but where can you get spare wheels of sand paper when they are used? There is nothing wrong with the sponge, so I don't want to have to but a completely new set, just the sheets of paper.
