Can't turn ignition with case on the key 07 VW Jetta
Cannot start the car with the case on. The case makes the key shorter, there's too much space. I bought the right one, I have a 07 VW Jetta.

Soo cute!!
I have a 2017 VW Beetle and this key fob cover fit great. However, having the cover does not allow for the usage of the key feature. Which may not be a big deal for you if you don't keep your glove box locked or you have a spare key.
