The LED light inside the doorbell stopped working a few minutes after installation.

Our old doorbell had a button that would stick. This new doorbell was easy to install and quick. Works as intended. Nothing fancy, but does the job well.

Looks pretty good and the light works very well -- I didn't have to do any additional wiring, since it seems the existing voltage and amperage are sufficient for this LED (kind of expected that with an LED, but it's nice that it just worked). Installation was very easy.

So I appreciate the solid feeling of this door bell button, it is metal, looks good, feels good when pressing the button. All around a solid product, except.... the LED worked for 5min and then never worked again.The button works fine, the wires were connected correctly per instructions but the LED light simply gave up after 5min and hence my 3 star review. If this door bell button were sold without the light inside, I'd give it a solid 5 stars, however since it was advertised with LED light inside and since it stopped working within 5min, I'm only giving 3 stars which is too bad, since this seems like a quality product otherwise.The picture shows the LED still working, I wish it still did, but it doesn't so durability may be an issue here.

I like the way it looks but unfortunately the light stops working after a few days. I returned it and got another one. The new one was a repeat of the first one, very disappointing.

Recently bought this doorbell to replace one of a different finish. It now matches the outside light fixtures. Also it stays lit where you press the button for nighttime visitors. The slim design is great for tight spots. It is not plastic either.

I was really pleased with the metal housing of this doorbell switch. It is quite thick and nicely finished. However, as other reviews have pointed out, the lighting fails rapidly. That is absolutely ridiculous for an LED based illuminator. Mine failed in less than 3 weeks. If the illumination of the switch is important to you, stay away from this one!
