Sony WH-CH520 Wireless On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone, Blue

I have had these for a while, and no complaints at all. I use it for work calls, music and the sound quality, microphone and noise cancellation are great! Let me tell you these headphones' battery life is top tier. I went a week without charging it, plus travelled with it on 20% and it still did not lose charge completely. You charge it one time, and it will last you a few days. I also have not had any issues without a carrying case. I wear it in the gym, and it also doesn't slip when it does get sweaty. So far I am enjoying these headphones as someone who loves music, and also work remotely and it definitely is value for your money. Easily adjustable as well. I was iffy and had it in my wish list for a while until I just purchased and I have not touched my airpods since.

I've been using these every single day for the past four months, and I honestly can't believe how good they are for the price!! The battery life is absolutely INSANE. One full charge lasts me almost an entire month, even with daily use. I keep expecting the battery to die, and it just...doesn't!?! The noise cancellation isn't 100%, but I'd say it's around 70%, which is more than enough for me. It does a great job cutting out background noise so I can focus, and the sound quality is fantastic for $30 price range. Comfortable fit, I use for music, podcasts, and movies which all sound clear and balanced. Easy connectivity too with bluetooth on my TV and Apple products. If you're looking for an affordable headset with that classic over-ear look, amazing battery life, and really solid sound quality, I can't recommend these enough. I'm genuinely blown away by how well they've held up!

My wife and I both got matching pairs (mine is tan hers is pink), and so far we are loving it. Great sound quality and I can talk on the phone with them as well (which I’m not used to). It’s also her first personal pair of headphones she’s ever had which she was (and still is) excited for. The battery life is great and it’s compact for easy storage. My only reason for not giving them 5 is that the headphones aren’t too comfortable in that they make your ears sore after long periods of having them on (due to not going over your ears but instead on them). Also because of the compact build it’s a bit difficult to rest them around your neck (but very comfortable to just have them on the head behind the ears). I’d say it’s still well worth the price and a great buy despite that (also love the colors).

I bought these because I needed something that would allow me to enjoy music, pod casts and many other videos without being tied to my desk computer or iPhone. One main reason is I needed something that sounded good but nothing overly priced like my AirPods Pro that only get about 2 hours of listening. These are rated for up to 50 hours. And the best part was the fact they were inexpensive connect to more than one bluetooth device (my M4 Mac mini and my iPhone 14) in addition I needed something to be able to have a conversation if my phone rings while I am on my Mac. and these have worked so far flawlessly. Set up was a bit more then I expected I figured connect via bluetooth and off I would go but no, I did have to download the app to fine-tune the Headphones which wasn't a big deal. While they are not of the highest quality they are perfect for me and my listening needs. Incoming calls were a breeze and everyone I spoke to so far while wearing them had no issues hearing me. Now, I am a bit amphrehensive about the battery life because at the whole day yesterday of wearing them the battery monitor on my Mac claim the headphones were still 100%. and if that is true then they are even better than I was expecting battery wise. I did recharge them over night because I wasn't sure if the Mac was telling me the truth. The voice interaction with my phone calls were very clear and I have no complaints. The fit is really nice if you ask me and they are very light weight, after wearing them almost all day I would forget they were on and have to take em off. They are very comfortable to wear and I noticed just how light they were when I pulled them off and carried them over to where I plugged them in to re-charge. Of course it's only been a couple of days so, if I can edit this review at a later time I will do so, if there is a need to. I mean after only a few days these are brand new so I do need to give them more time. Surprisingly, my ears have not began to sweat with them being on all day, although. I do have issues with my ears being itchy from time to time but that's not because of the headset. That's just my ears. For the price the quality for me is really good. I may listen to a song or two but, I mainly wanted something to last longer than 2 hours if I watch YouTube or other streaming videos on my computer or iPhone. As well, they release my nice wired set that I used, I got tired of tripping over the wire and my office chair rolling over the cord and getting tangled up. Plus the added convenience of being able to get up from my desk and walk around my Apartment when I need to while I am listening to something is what I was aiming for. The quality again for me is really good, I am not a sound engineer so I could not tell you where on the spectrum of sound they fit but for the price to me they do the job I expect of them. All around a good pair of headphones for the price. Battery life may not be up to 50 hours because the battery monitor remained at 100% even though I had them on almost all day. But, they certainly lasted well past the 2 - 5 hours of wearing them compared to a pair of Apple AirPod Pros. I still want to kick myself for buying the Apple ones not realizing for the price they didn't last very long on a single charge. I highly recommend.

I've worn the first pair of these almost every day for close to a year. Morning, afternoon, evening, and even when I'm falling asleep. I take them off once I'm actually out and just leave them next to me. They've basically been with me the whole time. Then one day the plastic inside the ear cuff just snapped. It kind of surprised me because I use them a lot but I didn't think they'd break like that. • Comfort: Really comfortable, even for hours at a time. I never really notice them bothering me, even when I fall asleep with them on. • Sound: Music sounds really good. I like that I can control everything myself with the buttons on the ear cup, switching songs and turning the volume up or down right from YouTube. • Microphone: This is the one part I'm not a fan of. It's not that great, so if you need it for talking or calls, just know that going in. • Battery: Honestly lasts a really long time. It always surprises me when it finally dies because I forget to even think about charging it. • Weight: These are lighter than a lot of other headphones I've tried, which I really like since I wear them so much. The only thing that bothers me is that the ear cuff broke after all that use. Everything else about them has been great though, and I'm excited to see how the new pair holds up.

The product arrived well packaged. There was a delivery delay but it was not horrendous and to be expected given that it was ordered during Parime Days, The headphones arrived almost fully charged, Set up was relatively easy, but you really do need to use their app to complete the set up process. The app also allows you to change some settings and select equalizer settings that work for you. The switches have a nice feel to them. They do have raised areas designed to help you find the correct switch by feel. There are times however when I find that it is easier to adjust the volume using the phone or I remove the headphone to make a change. This is a very subjective items so you may not have the same issue. No stars were deducted for that reason. These are an on ear device. It was not uncomfortable to me, but it did take some getting used to and here again...Personal preference comes into play. On a warm and humid day you may experience some sweating where the ear cup rides on your ear. That may allow for some movement / shifting of the headphone depending on what you are doing. They may thus not work out well for use doing exercising as an example. The sound quality is great at this price point. I have Bose ear buds. The sound from this device is not Bose quality and you should not expect it to be Bose quality. It is good to very good however. The equalizer settings allow you to control all five typical equalizer settings PLUS a separate adjustment for th4 bass. Paring was easy and fast. The connection remains stable most of the time. There is a selection that allows you to select either top quality sound or a more stable connection. I chose sound quality an the vast majority of the time the connection was stable with no noise present. There may be times however, that due to local conditions / interference you may have a little popping or very brief drop out. I have worn these headphones a LOT since they arrived and while I have experienced that, it was very limited. Now I also have a lot of electric / electronic devices in use on my property and that will may explain what I experienced. I did have some interference from some household devices when I wass very close to them. The battery life seems to be very good. I have worn m for several hours and the voice system still indicates 100% at startup. Unlike my Bose products the battery monitoring system is not linear where it will call out 100%, 90%, 80%b etc... It may call out 100% until the battery hits 50% (As an example) and then te voice system will drop from stating 100% to 50%. I do not see that as an issue or negative given the very long stated by the manufacturer battery life, and I have no disagreement with their claims about battery life aty this point in time, So again...Thus far I am very pleased with the fit, quality, and sound quality of these headphones. Do bed aware that tey are NOT noise cancelling. There will be some outside noise reduction dur to the ear cups of course.

I really liked the overall sound quality of these Sony headphones. They sounded great for both music and audiobooks, which is what I primarily used them for at home. My biggest complaint is that they didn't last a full year. Out of nowhere, the right speaker stopped working. I take very good care of my headphones and have several pairs for different uses, so they were never abused or subjected to harsh conditions. For comparison, I have a less expensive pair that I use while mowing the lawn that is over four years old and still works perfectly. I also own a pair of Bose headphones that I use for travel, and I've never had any issues with them. It's frustrating because the sound quality was excellent, and I expected much better longevity from a Sony product. If they had lasted longer, I would have rated them much higher. Pros: Very good sound quality Great for music and audiobooks Comfortable for home listening Cons: Right speaker failed in less than a year Durability did not meet expectations Bottom line: Great sound, but based on my experience, long-term reliability is questionable.

These headphones are amazing quality I fought them January 2026 and now in August 2026 I can say they Are incredible for the price sound is amazing and microphone was much much better then other headphones with double the price I bought and I would buy this again I fought the beige one
