Review: Excellent and highly versatile - Shelly has so many different relay models that it was hard to know where to start at first. In my new home, I wanted to use a mix of standard light bulbs and smart bulbs, but I wanted to be able to control all of them via Home Assistant. Using smart switches made that difficult, since it is rarely a good idea to put smart bulbs and smart switches together. Enter Shelly. This relay works perfectly with Home Assistant and is flexible enough to work with standard bulbs and smart bulbs, all of which are connected to standard, low-cost dumb light switches. I will be using these relays (the UL listed ones) throughout my new house. The power monitoring is a nice feature as well, but you can save money and get the relays that don't include power monitoring. These can also act as Bluetooth proxies in Home Assistant, which will be very useful, but I haven't tried this yet.

Shelly has so many different relay models that it was hard to know where to start at first. I'm a big fan of all Shelly products. I was extremely frustrated when I tried the first one (I now have about a dozen). I finally realized that I was overthinking the installation and interfacing it to Hubitat. Now I realize that they are super simple and very reliable. Love the ability to power with DC voltage in remote locations.
