What weight can it hold?

It will safely hold a 10 1/2" plate; that plate weight depends on the density and thickness of the plate. Specific max weight? No clue.

I have frameless for a photograph with cardboard back. Will these adhere to the back?

Bob, The discs adhere extremely well to smoothly glazed dishes for wall mounting. I would imagine they would definitely adhere very strongly to the card board backing on your picture. Just follow closely the pre-mounting directions to wet and set the glue before final mounting.

Can I use this in a bathroom on tiles? I want to hang a ceramic, unglazed starfish. I was wondering if a steamy room might affect it sticking power.

Hi,I have not tried this, but I don't think I would risk it just in case the steam could affect it.

Will this work with an unglazed plate?

I used them on the back of two tiles where the back of the tile is unglazed and they’ve been hanging strong for 2 years now.
