These phones are really good quality. Sound is fab and the answering phone is so easy to use. Such a great price for 3 phones. One in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Definitely recommend these phones.

Call quality very good. Not the easiest to set up, but that was because I have True Call installed with an answering machine but otherwise fine. Instructions could be clearer... my eyesight isn't brilliant and print very small so had to use an online manual. However when a call is received only the main reciever rings so if in back room could miss a call as the unit there does not ring. For some strange reason it also rings at 1am each morning, on a non base unit receiver though no call is shown as being received or shown on 1471. Very odd.

This pair of telephones are good value and with many features. I would add that when you are setting the phones up make sure that you follow the procedures carefully and only use the cables supplied. Be careful with the requirement to charge and discharge the battery before putting the phones in their cradles, and note the extension phone will not work unless the charging unit has power even though it is not on the charger initially. All in all a nice small phone set.

Set up wasn't too bad, wife finds it confusing to use compared to previous phones, and the sound quality is the worst we have had on this type of phone.

These phones are good. Easy to set up although I still can’t work out how to transfer contacts on to phones 2+3 without actually inputting manually. The volume is not as loud a# it might be but overall pleased with them.

The system is fairly easy to set up. The screen display is a reasonable size and clear. The high gloss on screen glass and surround does make reading the screen less clear because of reflections. The system takes four handsets, but only the three handsets are available on Amazon. I had to shop elsewhere for the additional handset. The three in this package were already registered with the base but I had to register the additional one myself. It is good that you can set up the 100 contacts list on one handset and transfer it to each of the extensions with just a couple of strokes. I would have liked to be able to name the handsets, which helps when using the intercom facility, or returning the handset to its correct location. Instead the handsets are numbered 1 to 4 and you need to remember which number you have assigned to which room. The alarm can only be set for repeat every day. The system being replaced (of another brand) allows for the alarm to be set for 'Just once', 'Daily' or you can set it for a particular date. This was most useful and it will be missed. The handsets have to be fully charged, then fully discharged before normal storing on the charging cradle. Discharging will take quite a few days, so maybe keep the old system running until the new system is ready.

I bought this phone to replace a BT one I'd had for years. I rarely use my land line as it's usually cold callers who ring it, however, recently, my partner suffered from a stroke, so she lost the ability to use the phone. I went for this one particularly for the speed dial function, I programmed my mobile number into it so that all my partner has to do its press and hold a certain number and it will ring my mobile! Great! It gives me some peace of mind that she only has to press one button if she gets into difficulty and I will be alerted and can help her. I like the calming ring tone too, not a harsh tone like the BT one. Also, one touch of a button tells me if I have any messages and I recorded my own message- not like BT, you have to pay extra to do that and if your own voice isn't on it, people are reluctant to leaves messages, which is frustrating. I've not used all of the features on the phone yet but I have taken some calls on it and the sound its clear. The German technology is excellent. Recommended!

After being sent the wrong item and receiving the refund I purchased again and this time the correct phone was sent. The Which review has all the detail. It is easy to set up and perfect for a simple home phone with answer machine. One point that is not promoted too well is that each handset base is wall mountable if required. Many phones do not have wall mounts.

Nous avions déjà un trio Gigaset, mais moins performant, pas de main libre, moins de réglage, avec celui-ci, c'est un vrai plaisir de téléphoner, de poser le combiné et de partager la communication, vraiment un plus.

Durch einen Blitzschlag war die Basis meines vorherigen Gigaset mit 3 Handgeräten beschädigt worden. Ich habe darum einen preisgünstigen Ersatz gesucht und war froh, dass es die gleiche Basis mit nur einem Handgerät so preiswert noch immer gab. Ich habe dabei nicht beachtet, dass das Gerät aus UK geliefert wird. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell. Als ich das Gerät auspackte, habe ich festgestellt, dass das Netzteil einen englischen Stecker hat. Zum Glück passte das alte Netzteil zur Basis. Bai dem Angebot hätte darauf hingewiesen werden müssen. Nicht jeder hat ein entsprechendes Netzteil zur Verfügung.
