A great product at a fantastic price
I was a bit skeptical purchasing this unit since I was not familiar with the brand. I consulted with a friend in the HVAC field and he said it appears to be a higher quality with a good SEER rating. I’m 72 years old and did the mounting with no problems. Lots of YouTube tutorials to support the product also. When my HVAC guy came to do the final piping and evaluation, he was quite impressed with the quality he saw. The unit works great and has a ton of features. Rovsun you make a nice mini split HVAC. It’s so quiet it’s hard to tell if it’s even running.

Ease of installation
Writing this after installation, just got it up and running. Unit is easy to install, taking around 3 hours from open the box to running. Definitely puts out cold air, easily keeping the space it is in cold even with 90-100 degrees outside. Would purchase again.

Amazing performance for the money! But see my notes about proper installation.
Love this unit so far, its been SOOOO nice to have AC this summer and its quiet and strait forward to install. Just remember to buy all the installation accessories when you order, like the disconnect box, power whip, wall mount and/or exterior platform for the exterior portion of the unit. One note about the controls, is it does have timers that can be set to automatically turn it on and off... BUT there is no classic schedule like a typical thermostat would have which makes it a little odd to set a true daily schedule. Note to manufacture: I sure this could easily be changed with a software update. Please consider making this change it would make you product one step above the competition. Head up to the DIYers: What is not clearly advertised about the installation up front is to properly install most mini splits you really need a vacuum pump and gauge set with the proper line adaptor to correctly vacuum the lines out BEFOR you open and release the refrigerant that is pre-charged in the exterior pump unit to get maximum performance. This is a required step for maximum performance and life span of the unit, if you don't it might work but it will likely cause issues down road and need servicing and or greatly shorten its service life.

Works well, fairly easy to install
Installation was fairly easy. I installed the 230V unit because i wanted the current split between the two bus bars in my breaker sub-panel so i can use it on generator power as well. I have a load indicator on each of the 120v sides in the sub-panel. I wired the unit with 12 gauge stranded as higher gauge offers less resistance plus stranded is more flexible in watertight tubing. Its still wired to a 15A double breaker as manual states with a disconnect near the outside unit. With compressor running and temp set to 61, unit drew a max of 3A one side and 4A on 2nd side of 230V. Pf was pretty good too. I evacuated the lines prior to charging and used the threadlocker for few bucks more for piece of mind. Cooling produced 41 degree out of the unit. Compressor is really quiet. Heating was good too, i got 110 deg geat right out of the unit, 10 ft away it was a nice comfortable heat. My only issue was the wifi was a pain to connect. Im an IT guy, so its not the knowledge. It tells you to hit display 6 times in under 8 seconds, i heard the 2 beeps but display never flashed the code. After a few frustrating hours, i finally got it to connect. For $499 for 12,000btu and $99 shipping, it wasnt a bad diy install. I may get another for my upstairs, maybe 1 or 2 in my parents house. Only draw back was no stencil for making a 2 1/8 inch hole. From center of bracket, i measured 13 inches right, and then in-ling with slotted hold bottom rt on bracket and it was essentially spot on. Comes with sealing putty 2 packs. I ran my lines across my porch then down and placed the outside unit where the lines met without kinking or curling excess up, and approx 1ft from wall for air flow, maybe a bit more. So far its working great. Cant wait to try in hot summer and freezing winter.

Misleading Working Range
The unit works ok when it runs properly and it was easy enough to get installed. Their are some issues I have run into. The most frustrating is that according to the seller, this unit will not cool if the indoor temp is below 32 or above 90. So if you plan to put this in a garage or something and only turn it on when its really hot or cold and want to use the space this will not work. I purchased this unit because it said its exterior working range was -4 to 122, but the indoor range changes that drastically. Had I known I would not have purchased this unit. There are times the outdoor fan does not come on and the indoor unit just circulates air. This has happened on both heat and cool. I am not at this location often so I have not had a chance to fully test why. its possible its due to the indoor limitation that is not disclosed in the listing. Will need to do more testing. The app is cool but clunky and cumbersome. And doesn't keep in line with the remote. not the end of the world but it could be better. In the end not a bad unit when it works, but its only viable in a space that you will constantly condition and keep within those ranges. And if you ever get outside of them there is nothing you can do, at least according to the seller.

No need to second guess go ahead and order ( not a fake review)😂
I have no complaint about any thing honestly. The install is easy as can be any common Joe can do it. I’ve bought this and against the Georgia heat I’ve been having to wear jackets in side during summer it’s cheap and work amazing. Anyone on a budget should buy this the only problem is there isn’t a template to the mounting bracket but you can juts grab the bracket and a level and you will be ok the wiring was super simple

Cools quite nicely!
So far about two months in this unit is fantastic! Cools the room very well, actually getting too cold at times. Runs quiet under normal operation. Can put in turbo mode and fan gets a little louder. Was fairly easy to install but you will need a vacuum pump to complete the install.

Great 1 ton unit
I picked up 2 of these wonderful units and they have been running for a month with no issues at all. Plan on spending $250 for the incidentals to hook each one up and you have to hang it off the wall or pour a small pad for the outside/condenser part. The 2 units cool the entire house approximately 1400 sq.ft. Quietly and affordably. You won't be disappointed in any way...
