Girl on the Shore, A

Asano's story telling always resonates with me and hits hard right in the feelings. It's a perfect read for any teenager or mature reader and the artwork is simply sublime.

Nice book to read

I personally believe this to be an amazing 2 volume series, others may disagree and i can understand why. Listen to me when i see this is not for everyone… you have to look at his story deeper to really see what’s going on if you take it as face value content then this will not have the same brilliant effect of surrealism. I highly recommend you check this series out. However if you don’t like it then don’t be put off by the author altogether as many who read this and did not like it went on to read asanos other stuff and enjoy it substantially.

inio asano is one of my favourite authors this book is captivating whilst still leaving you left confused and developing a pitiful emotional attachment to the characters, beautiful artwork as always if suicide and sexual intercourse make you uncomfortable then i would check out a different book by inio asano.

Primarily a story about relationships. Does not shy from showing early sexual experiences. I found the characters more human for the flaws shown. The end shows personal growth though it is both saddening and cheering.

Life is short, and some things I'll never have gotten to experience.

The Book is in good State and It is a Flexy-Book As far as ' Girl on the Shore ' Collections go buy this one or anyone that contains the whole manga in a Volume, I have seen it divided up to Four Volumes and I swear they take more space and Cost More. Advice If you want to check Asano' s as an Author Start with PunPun if you are here because of PunPun like me, eh, what can I say you are fine. I guess mankind is a creature make slave by its own habits. I will start with what I found most amusing. I make a joke upon reading the prologue about Day by Day going to Beach and Finding nothing in its sands, then I make it to my friend and then every time in the story when they came back to the same question "What did you find on the Shore?". The Joke " What did I find on the Shore something really big and amazing and valuable: The SEA" The low score and disillusionment comes from finishing this Inio Asano series give it the Highest score and praise to later find out I hate it while trying to convince everyone else to read it. How it happened? While trying to sell ' Girl on the Shore to a Friend' We figured out in the retelling that I have Crucified many other Series for making the same mistakes and so in all fairness I had to take it off the pedestal. In conclusion.As long as you are good with Characters skipping to the End state of their relationship I think you would be a fine.

The boy is unscrupulous and unruly in a way. The girl pretends that she is a decent girl at school and at home. What was the creator trying to say? I did not get it. Overrated work.

As a total fan of Punpun, downfall and Solanin, I loved this piece of art. It will dive you into a lot of situations and experiences like no other manga will ever do, recommend you to read it.

I bought this to prepare myself for Goodnight Punpu and wasn't expecting much, but it ended up becoming my favorite manga. I never thought a story this short would make me feel an intense set of emotions as this one did. Explicit content by the way.
