EARTHSHIP BIOTECTURE BIBLE: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SUSTAINABLE BUILDING

I have been an Earthship enthusiast for many years and during my travels in South India, I came across Earthship Karuna and knew I couldn't miss the opportunity to see it. It was there that I had the pleasure of meeting Alex and was immediately struck by his expertise and firsthand experience in applying Earthship building principles to a given geographical area. He was able to successfully adapt traditional designs to fit the mountain climate and effectively use locally available materials.When Alex released his book, I was one of the first to read it and was thoroughly impressed by the level of detail and expertise contained within its pages. Not only was the book informative and comprehensive, but it was also accessible to readers of all experience levels. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in sustainable living and Earthships in particular.

A great book to inspire anyone thinking of a self build to take you more off grid while solving some of the problems for our planet and pocket!Great to see Mike Reynolds paid homage too as well, Well done Alex, Glad to see you are still bonkers about Earthships and quite rightfully so as they give so many answers to so may problems, especially in this current economic and environmental crisis. When you came to visit during the Build of Earthship Sheppey, you were the only person who defended my enthusiasm to build with tyres in the U K at one point! Your presence was inspiring and I sincerely hope you keep on spreading the word and teaching in the ways of biotecture you are a true master of it by now surely! The book has made me want to make some retrofits to Earthship Sheppey!

When I read ‚bible‘ in the title and a book has a lot of pages, I expect information and not high level general blabla.The book is written in big letters and a lot of white space on each page - therefore many pages.Reference links in the book pointing to video material are no longer valid.You can save your money and better watch YouTube Videos, that offer more information

having worked with Alex for many years on Earthship projects, its great to see him pull together his insights gleaned from multiple Earthship projects...going way back to when we worked together on the earthship in Brighton. He has played a key part in the whole movement and has held the line firm...I take my hat off to him (again) and if you're interested in Earthship at all then you will benefit from the original and the recycled 'reynolds' content in this book! It pulls it all together well.

I never realised the full extend of its potential till I read this book.The versatility of Earth Ships.and their ability to be built in any kind of soil is truly remarkable ,and the benefit of being self sufficient and off-grid are truly inspiring.The idea of having reliable organic year round food production and overcoming water scarcity in any part of the world is just amazing.I was specially moved by the focus of having truly life long security for you and your family .This book is a must read for anyone who is passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment .

Wow, what an eye-opener! After reading this book, I finally understand what Earthships are all about and I'm blown away by their potential. Alex has done an amazing job of explaining the many benefits of living in an Earthship, from being self-sufficient and off-grid, to growing your own food and saving energy. I feel inspired and empowered to make a change and live a more sustainable life.
