This white PLA Plus has been really easy to print with and gave me clean results right away. The color is a nice bright white without looking dull or yellow, which makes finished prints look sharp. I’ve had good layer adhesion and very little stringing, even on parts with a lot of detail. It’s been great for simple household prints and little projects with my daughters on the weekend. Solid filament overall and one I’d buy again without hesitation.

I’ve used ELEGOO’s PLA filaments before and have yet to be disappointed. I can rely on preset parameters to work for each roll/color I use and this was no exception - no tangling, fully opaque, and good layer adhesion and strength. It’s my first time printing with white and it was perfect, just like classic white printing paper color. Spray primer still works fine, but it’s nice to have the option to skip that work and just use acrylic markers to color quickly especially when it’s just a fun print to kill time.

UPDATE at end of my original review, very pleased with results after changes to temps, please read - ORIGINAL - OK, biggest issue with this filament, not a bright white! Others have complained of same issue, more of a very light beige or off white color. The stringing? Probably just a temp issue, I was using my default PLA+ settings, hot end 200C and bed 60C, lowered hot end temp to 192, hopefully less stringing. Seems to be a lot more pliable than other PLA at similar temps, if I don't let the bed and print cool completely, the print is easily bent while removing from bed. Besides the slight stringing at 200C and need to let item and bed completely cool before handling, it seems to print pretty well, but I did not do any fine printing, most were at .28 layer lines, just quick test prints to test part designs, so I can't give definitive answer on ultimate print quality. I will use the filament for some prototypes and other non color dependent items, but will not be buying again. UPDATE - I feel so bad about posting my original review before waiting to see what effect the change in printing temperature would have on my final results. Changing the printing temp to 192C made a huge difference, almost no stringing now (major complaint in original video). My other complaint, not a bright white, that is not changed, but for many uses the color would be fine. The thing I'm most impressed about is the fine detail in my printout after lowering temp to 192C and the strength of my printed object. I designed a scoop for shaved ice for making snowballs, it turned out flawless and seems very strong! I also remarked about how flexible the filament was when I removed it from the bed while it was still warm, that may be an advantage, may be what makes it so strong when fully cooled. I had originally said I would not buy again, now I'm looking at buying more in different colors to see if I get the same great results.

Great price works great

I line the simplicity color has no odor no fumes. It makes things look super dope and clean. The appearance on things is great making fidgets look good. Only one thing if you make things with only one color or just white it looks bland. It is better with other colors like blue red or black.

Great print work with this filament!

It is a reliable filament for a reliable price. It was an evolution in settling down on a brand, but no regrets here. I have had some better and some worse, but this is something that I can always count on. I now how it will behave from season to season. I know if the house humidity is over 35 percent, I am going to dry it to print it. I am ok with that idea. It stores well enough. roll to roll, the color stays pretty close. I have good bed adhesion, then it comes off the bed when you want it too. Unless I need some real exotic color, Elegoo is how I roll. I bet out of 50 rolls, I have only had one where I thought it had a tangle in the factory winding of the spool. I still trust the spool to go off and let it print without problems. The silks can be a bit brittle coming off the spool, but take your time and avoid sharp bends when loading, and then I think you will be fine. Unless I am used to it, the PLA does not smell at all when printing. I have sat in the same room as the printer for a year and half now and not growing any weird body parts. I am happy with the price over quality.

Works, works well, came on time. So far so good.
