Alan's Big, Scary Teeth

I am a children's dentist and read this book to young children when I undertake oral health promotion visits. All the children love hearing this story, the story is very funny and the pictures and vivid and colourful. My two year old son also loves this story. I wish I wrote it!

Love this - my baby is only 6 months old but the vivid illustrations capture his attention, the story and imagery is interesting enough that I don't get bored (which I admit can be a problem with me and baby books) and it's really fun for us to go through with him even now - I'm sure he'll continue to enjoy this on different levels as he grows up. I love how big, bright and full the pages are.

This lovely story, wonderfully illustrated, tells the life of Alan, a scary alligator who loves to scare his jungle neighbours but he also has a secret behind his terrifying appearance.Loved it!

I started reading this book to my grand-daughters (5 & 3) and they loved it,and wanted it read again once finished. Illustrations are clear and colourful - older generation enjoyed it too - thank God for a book that’s fun to read with little ones.

Read to 3 grandchildren aged 3-6 and out of 3 books we read this was the winner hands down! They loved it, especially the amusing way Alan sounds without his teeth. Lots of laughter and a cheerful and fun story to read out loud.

I bought this for my Early Years setting. The children love it and found the twist in the story very funny. The story is a good length for under 5's and lovely bright pictures.

great story for kids my 4 year old loved me reading this to her.

My daughters quite liked this story but the ending was a bit disappointing overall would recommend it though
